Checking in!
Its the wee hours of Tuesday morning and I will make this short and sweet for now... Weighed in today and down another 3.6 pounds this week! 15.2 total! So so happy and feeling really good!
Exercise/ movement is increasing but im not going to the gym every morning... I am prioritizing rest one notch above movement. If I get to bed super late I will move another way at a lster time of day rather than get up so early to be at the gym by 6. Ideally I will always get to bed early enough, but at times it seems extra hard to make that happen. Baby steps.
Just keep going forward...!!
Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well. I know some people in the group have had some recent tough news for themselves or family members. It really puts the day to day issues we face into perspective, and reminds me to just focus on doing the best I can to be as healthy as possible. To those who are having a hard time, we are all here for you and sending you some prayers and support. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Just focus today on doing the best you can and remember that food isn't going to bring you the comfort you are looking for.
Here is a little video of Penelopes performance from her piano recital l last night, she's been taking lessons for about a year and a half. 🎹🤍🖤

Thinking about the year ahead can be overwhelming when it comes to goal setting. For some people, like me, short term goals can be much more motivating. Right now it's beast mode through the Meetup this Saturday. That said, I do still have long term goals for the year. Staying carnivore is just a given now as it's my life already so I have to dive a little deeper for me. I'd like to stay in the same weight range but lower my body fat a bit. Gain some muscle mass in short. Gym at least 4 times a week and beast mode at the same time is my recipe.
Steak video for interest. 🤪
Do you do better with short or long term goals?
So sorry guys, my 2 1/2 hour drive home from the cabin is turning into a 5+ hour drive home so I am not going to make it in time to Livestream tonight. I'll post the link for the Dr Berry Livestream for tomorrow when I know it. I'll catch up on posts here when I get home if you have any questions.
Happy Tuesday!! I ended up not eating at all yesterday and decided to just fast for 48 hours. Doing an impromptu fast because I am so busy is when it's the easiest. I skipped breakfast because I thought we were going to have an early lunch, and then my lunch window got booked with meetings. By the time my work day ended I just decided to push through and go to the sauna etc and wait and eat today. I even ended up walking 7.5 miles on my walking pad throughout the day. I made sure to load up on some extra electrolytes with the exercise and the fasting.
I am actually going to a hotel near our house for today/tomorrow, I need reliable Internet for work and we are still experiencing outages today. Chris is going to get a new company installed tomorrow but not until then one of my work day, hopefully that fixes the issue. I'll have to go to the hotel gym and do my walking there since I won't have my walking pad. Chris offered to being it to the hotel for me so I could walk while I ...
Fyi: Equip is launching their new protein bars today. They are pretty clean but they aren't carnivore, they contain dates and honey etc. But they do have colostrum and 20 grams of protein. My personal issue (and why they aren't right for me) is that they contain 21 grams of carbs. If you are more Ketovore or do eat some carbs they are a better option than a lot of the other junky protein bars. But beware of the ingredients.
That being said If you want to stock up on the protein powders or any of their other products, they are removing the restrictions for my discount code, so if you've used it before you can use it again this week.
I'm not going to be talking much about the bars because they're just not something that I personally would use, but I know everybody's different so I wanted to make sure you're aware at least. 👍🏼
Good morning, very dear family, I am not sure if others find themselves in this situation but I am going through a "refining" period (in my life) where all the good things (about my health) I am now really polishing up and taking stock of what I "personally" need to do. Polishing up or getting better medical care for or concentrating on evolving my everyday "good" habits into something REALLY good. At 77, I have been putting all the "details (of my physical well-being)" on the "back burner" (for some invisible better time). Today's motto is: No Time Like The Present. - Why not? Instead of procrastinating (I will wait until this or that gets worse... due to lack of money or lack of time or not in the mood) (I think that covers all of my excuses. I want to shine!! This program is really setting me on a very good path of continuing to grow and be proud of what the outcome is producing. I guess I just want to show the good Lord how grateful I am for so many blessings...for me, the first ...
