Happy Monday! How are you feeling today? Everything go well this weekend? Any challenges?
I know you have goals/non-negotiable set for the whole year, but Chris talked the other day about how short term goals can be really motivating. Each Monday I like to set a new goal, it might be the same as the week before or maybe you made a small tweak based on how things are going. But I think that doing short term goals and small adjustments like this is so much better than sticking with something that's not working, or making drastic changes.
So what is your one goal or non-negotiable for this week?
*Supporter Livestream Thursday this week (and next week).
Thinking about the year ahead can be overwhelming when it comes to goal setting. For some people, like me, short term goals can be much more motivating. Right now it's beast mode through the Meetup this Saturday. That said, I do still have long term goals for the year. Staying carnivore is just a given now as it's my life already so I have to dive a little deeper for me. I'd like to stay in the same weight range but lower my body fat a bit. Gain some muscle mass in short. Gym at least 4 times a week and beast mode at the same time is my recipe.
Steak video for interest. 🤪
Do you do better with short or long term goals?
So sorry guys, my 2 1/2 hour drive home from the cabin is turning into a 5+ hour drive home so I am not going to make it in time to Livestream tonight. I'll post the link for the Dr Berry Livestream for tomorrow when I know it. I'll catch up on posts here when I get home if you have any questions.
Happy Tuesday!
Today Kerry from HomesteadHow and his cameraman are coming to the house today to film us for the Healing Humanity Documentary! We are sharing the story of how Carnivore has reversed Chris's Type 2 Diabetes and then our weight loss and healing overall. We have some good meat to cook up for them as well during filming so that should be fun.
We are one week into the new year, and for some of you it's Day 2 (or day 1) and for some of you it's Day 7 (or more), how are you doing so far? I saw several mentions of "Meat Fatigue" yesterday, who here is experiencing that?
I personally like a variety of meats but several of you are doing beef only so that's not an option. My one suggestion is to mix textures of meat, eating burger patties over and over again can get old QUICK. How can you give yourself a different texture of beef today? Take some beef/fat scraps and crisp them up in a skillet or air fryer to eat something crispy. Can you find some beef bacon? Have a steak...
