I have lost over 100 pounds on a Carnivore diet. I share my lifestyle and diet on IG and YouTube. I am looking to create a Locals community for my closest fans/supporters. I want them to be able to connect with each other and have access to exclusive content from me.

Hello, tribe.

I am happy to say I'm finally out of the 30 to 31 BMI. I'm 29 now and finally inside the 170's lbs. I am in danger still hahaha. I'm a 179lbs which took me forever. I did what some of you advised me to do. I hid my scale for a month give or take and weighted myself yesterday. When I started with the group I was 192lbs. As I no longer wanted to focus on weight loss but my mental health, things became easier, but gladly the weight it's also coming off and more rewarding when you weight yourself after a month of hard work. Only 19 more to go 🤩

Hope you all had a wonderful day.

Saturday, Jan 18th

Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well. I know some people in the group have had some recent tough news for themselves or family members. It really puts the day to day issues we face into perspective, and reminds me to just focus on doing the best I can to be as healthy as possible. To those who are having a hard time, we are all here for you and sending you some prayers and support. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Just focus today on doing the best you can and remember that food isn't going to bring you the comfort you are looking for.

Here is a little video of Penelopes performance from her piano recital l last night, she's been taking lessons for about a year and a half. 🎹🤍🖤

Thinking about the year ahead can be overwhelming when it comes to goal setting. For some people, like me, short term goals can be much more motivating. Right now it's beast mode through the Meetup this Saturday. That said, I do still have long term goals for the year. Staying carnivore is just a given now as it's my life already so I have to dive a little deeper for me. I'd like to stay in the same weight range but lower my body fat a bit. Gain some muscle mass in short. Gym at least 4 times a week and beast mode at the same time is my recipe.

Steak video for interest. 🤪

Do you do better with short or long term goals?

Canceling The Livestream 😭

So sorry guys, my 2 1/2 hour drive home from the cabin is turning into a 5+ hour drive home so I am not going to make it in time to Livestream tonight. I'll post the link for the Dr Berry Livestream for tomorrow when I know it. I'll catch up on posts here when I get home if you have any questions.

Let's make it a great week!!

Happy Monday! How was your weekend? I am headed to Austin for a few days for a work trip. As usual I am bringing some food with me just in case, but since this is a place I travel to often I kind of have my food routine dialed in.

What does a typical week look like for you? Will things be routine this week for you or are you traveling or having an out of the norm week? We all just picked our non-negotiable for August so let's keep things simple this week and focus on that. Also as a reminder, if you haven't already taken your pictures for August!! That's the best way to track your progress and notice changes. (I didn't realize how much my kids grew this year until I looked at those First Day/Last Day of school pictures)

Final reminder, today is the last day to sign up for the 'Carnivore Made Simple' course, Dr. Westman is kicking things off tomorrow night with a Livestream. Code LAURA gets you a discount on the course. https://adaptyourlifeacademy.com/carnivore-made-simple/

Sunday, Aug 3rd

Happy Sunday! I ended up doing a big closet purge yesterday, mostly it was just clothes I don't wear anymore. I got rid of my big clothes a long time ago but I also had a decent amount of clothes that I was saving from a few years ago when I was my smallest. I kept telling myself to hang onto them "just in case", but it's taken me a long time to accept that's not my goal anymore and I could let go of those clothes.

My Mom has been doing a lot of cleaning out of her closet too, she's getting rid of anything that doesn't fit her now or more than one size in either direction. At one point I had clothes in my closet all the way from a size 20 to a size 4 and everywhere in between. Why do we hold on to clothes that don't fit us anymore?

Have you done a clean of your closet yet? Keeping clothes that are too big or too small "just in case"?

Happy Sunday Evening!

Today was busy for a Sunday.
We went to church. Got a text in the middle of the sermon from my brother that my mom had been in the ER 3x yesterday! I called him on our way home. She had a bad gastro virus mid-week and didn't allow enough time for her 82 yo body to recover before getting back at all the things. She is fine now and at home. I made her some bone broth chicken soup and will deliver that tomorrow. Someone tie that woman to her chair so she can regain her strength!

Came home, ate lunch, was on the porch in the coolness until I started falling asleep. So to my chair and slept 3 hours! Guess I was tired.

Woke up to make the soup. Then went into town to visit our farm landlady and talk about some farm stuff. We had a nice 1.5 hour visit with her. She walked us out to the car and didn't want us to leave. She's a bit of a introvert but enjoys our visits. (Note to self: stop up again soon!) I took her some of the canned peaches from yesterday.

The supper at ...
