Good afternoon, tribe.
I'm Back in Arizona since Sunday. The fiance is starting a travel contract with the same hospital that I work for, so we had to come back a little early. Tomorrow will be my first night shift working at this hospital. I'm exited!
So, I have decided I will only cook for myself from now on. I have been on and off carnivore since 2022 and I believe this is the longest I have been really strict carnivore based, because I do eat avocados and pickles and will not stop using seasoning. I will not be cooking food that can be triggering for me and my fiance and his son don't eat my food. I'm not a good cook anyway, but I was trying to be a loving partner and step-mom and trying to teach my stepson about good habits. He will only eat sugary, carb filled trash. Can you believe that during the 11+ hours drive back from Missouri, he didn't have to use the bathroom even once. That tells me he doesn't drink water either unles it's filled with sugar and I was not paying for sugary drinks. So it's time to say: "Everyone! Cook whatever you want to eat. I won't be trying anymore." Goodwill can only last so long. And it's actually a relief not trying.

Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well. I know some people in the group have had some recent tough news for themselves or family members. It really puts the day to day issues we face into perspective, and reminds me to just focus on doing the best I can to be as healthy as possible. To those who are having a hard time, we are all here for you and sending you some prayers and support. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Just focus today on doing the best you can and remember that food isn't going to bring you the comfort you are looking for.

Thinking about the year ahead can be overwhelming when it comes to goal setting. For some people, like me, short term goals can be much more motivating. Right now it's beast mode through the Meetup this Saturday. That said, I do still have long term goals for the year. Staying carnivore is just a given now as it's my life already so I have to dive a little deeper for me. I'd like to stay in the same weight range but lower my body fat a bit. Gain some muscle mass in short. Gym at least 4 times a week and beast mode at the same time is my recipe.

Happy Wednesday!! I am back to work today after a nice long weekend with the family. Apologies if I have missed some messages the last couple of days. In addition to being off work, my phone has been not working properly so I had to get them to ship me a replacement. I had to spend most of yesterday evening after my livestream getting the new one all set up.
I can't believe it but we are in the final couple days of July already! Most of you know we like to do some reflection at the end of every month before we start setting some goals for the new month.
First thing I like to focus on is 'what went well'. What was something that went well for you this month? What was your biggest win in July?
For me, I am proud that I have continued to stick with movement for the whole month of July. 💪🏼
