Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well. I know some people in the group have had some recent tough news for themselves or family members. It really puts the day to day issues we face into perspective, and reminds me to just focus on doing the best I can to be as healthy as possible. To those who are having a hard time, we are all here for you and sending you some prayers and support. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Just focus today on doing the best you can and remember that food isn't going to bring you the comfort you are looking for.

Thinking about the year ahead can be overwhelming when it comes to goal setting. For some people, like me, short term goals can be much more motivating. Right now it's beast mode through the Meetup this Saturday. That said, I do still have long term goals for the year. Staying carnivore is just a given now as it's my life already so I have to dive a little deeper for me. I'd like to stay in the same weight range but lower my body fat a bit. Gain some muscle mass in short. Gym at least 4 times a week and beast mode at the same time is my recipe.

So sorry guys, my 2 1/2 hour drive home from the cabin is turning into a 5+ hour drive home so I am not going to make it in time to Livestream tonight. I'll post the link for the Dr Berry Livestream for tomorrow when I know it. I'll catch up on posts here when I get home if you have any questions.
Happy Monday, and the last day of the month!! June went by so fast!! I am pretty proud of myself with how June ended up. Beast Mode went really well for me and I am feeling back to my leaner self. I am also pretty proud I was able to get into a good routine of being more active. Unfortunately I am ending the month with a set back, I tweaked my knee this weekend (the one I previously had surgery on) so I have had to take it easy on extra steps for a couple days. It's a good reminder I need to find a balance between being active and not overdoing it.

I"m almost 26 hours into my current fast. Aiming for tomorrow evening. It's interesting how each fast is different. This one is pretty easy and the food noise is slight. Maybe it's because I've had only unflavored LMNT today?
Also amazing the food noise is so low considering how my work day was. (Yuck!) Very thankful for a short week and long weekend! And my office mate comes back tomorrow.
Another plus tonight, I rolled the rebounder out again. And did a 30 min program with no stopping. I did modify some as I am so uncoordinated. But I'm proud of myself for sticking to it and getting sweaty.
Lots of sunshine and fresh air between the chickie chores and home chores. And potted up 2 new flowers in a pot that was needing a few more. It was so nice outside with the breeze blowing.
Ok, off to read a bit and earlier bedtime.

We had a very special time yesterday, we took some lovely walks in the woods and the kids got to have an amazing experience with some raptor birds (Penelope is holding a baby owl and Nathaniel is holding a 12 year old Harris Hawk). We are driving back down the mountain early this morning in time for church. I am feeling very grateful we could have this time with my Mom making some wonderful memories. Chris's aunt also came and had lunch with us yesterday, which was a special visit.
