Mercy it was a week! And not in a great way. Work - eye roll But it's now the weekend and we'll forget about that until Monday morning.
We celebrated the Farmer's bday with Dairy Queen burgers. LOL His choice. I made up for it tonight with Surf & Turf at home.
It was another cloudy cold day but it's warm enough in the basement on the rebounder. Maybe if this had been a thing in the 80-90s I wouldn't have gained so much. 😆
Ok, I'm off to the shower and a nice long sleep! See you all tomorrow!

Exercise: 30 mins higher (for me) intensity on the rebounder. I'm getting a little more coordinated.

Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well. I know some people in the group have had some recent tough news for themselves or family members. It really puts the day to day issues we face into perspective, and reminds me to just focus on doing the best I can to be as healthy as possible. To those who are having a hard time, we are all here for you and sending you some prayers and support. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Just focus today on doing the best you can and remember that food isn't going to bring you the comfort you are looking for.

Thinking about the year ahead can be overwhelming when it comes to goal setting. For some people, like me, short term goals can be much more motivating. Right now it's beast mode through the Meetup this Saturday. That said, I do still have long term goals for the year. Staying carnivore is just a given now as it's my life already so I have to dive a little deeper for me. I'd like to stay in the same weight range but lower my body fat a bit. Gain some muscle mass in short. Gym at least 4 times a week and beast mode at the same time is my recipe.

I’ve eaten good and not so good.
I am using carnivore as a bit of a detox leading up to wedding and honeymoon and post honeymoon, I am back into carnivore.
I’m enjoying my parents being here and mom is joining me in carnivore this week aside from some natural whole berries here and there.
Texas De Brazil was excellent last night celebrating their 44th wedding anniversary.
My dress saga is finally over, took my gown to a completely different and unrelated bridal boutique, had an amazing experince. Some alterations are being made and I pick up my dress Thursday morning. (The day before!)
Guests are starting to arrive and I am SUPER excited now my dress drama is done with.
Thank you all so much for the birthday wishes, I felt very special yesterday and got to lots of fun things with my family. Today Chris and I leave for our trip to Cabo that I was awarded through my job. There will be some work events but we should still be able to relax a lot. To be honest I really need it. The last few months have been a rollercoaster for me with work and that causes so much mental and emotional stress. I am really looking forward to disconnecting this trip and using it as a mental reset.
When I am traveling I normally still write these morning posts or I pre-schedule some ahead, I am sorry to say I didn't do that this time with how hectic the last few days have been. I am going to fully step away for the next few days, I know you all will understand and even moreso I know you will continue to support each other in mine and Chris's absence. Please continue to engage, encourage each other, and use this group for accountability. I will catch up when we get ...
