It's only been a few days and we're certainly missing Laura very much. We're excited for her adventures and trying to create our own here by staying busy. Penelope has been really into learning to cook so yesterday she made homemade chili and garlic green beans. The kids aren't carnivore but they do eat fairly low carb. I'm excited that she picked these options on her own, both very low carb. She's having a blast with it. Next step is getting her grill skills up when she can lift the lid haha.

In the video I did on what I eat, I mention I typically on eat about 4 things in rotation. Totally satisfied with that. What about you? Simple and repetitive or do you need more variety?

Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well. I know some people in the group have had some recent tough news for themselves or family members. It really puts the day to day issues we face into perspective, and reminds me to just focus on doing the best I can to be as healthy as possible. To those who are having a hard time, we are all here for you and sending you some prayers and support. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Just focus today on doing the best you can and remember that food isn't going to bring you the comfort you are looking for.

Thinking about the year ahead can be overwhelming when it comes to goal setting. For some people, like me, short term goals can be much more motivating. Right now it's beast mode through the Meetup this Saturday. That said, I do still have long term goals for the year. Staying carnivore is just a given now as it's my life already so I have to dive a little deeper for me. I'd like to stay in the same weight range but lower my body fat a bit. Gain some muscle mass in short. Gym at least 4 times a week and beast mode at the same time is my recipe.

Canceling The Livestream 😭

So sorry guys, my 2 1/2 hour drive home from the cabin is turning into a 5+ hour drive home so I am not going to make it in time to Livestream tonight. I'll post the link for the Dr Berry Livestream for tomorrow when I know it. I'll catch up on posts here when I get home if you have any questions.

Sunday, April 6th

I had another good night's sleep. Starting tomorrow, I will have to adjust to getting up earlier for work, but at least I'm feeling rested to start the week. I ended up walking about 10 miles yesterday. My coworker and her husband didn't fly out until midday, so we walked all over Madrid, showing them all the major tourist spots. My coworker has an Apple watch, and when they left for the airport, we had walked 6 miles. I took a little break and then went out walking (and shopping) for another few hours in the afternoon. I mapped it out, and I think I had about another 4+ miles.

My plan for today is just to be outside, walk, enjoy the beautiful weather, and at some point have a delicious steak. What are your plans for today?

I am going to do a Livestream MONDAY. It will be evening for me here in Spain (8 pm), but that will make it 2 pm EST. I know not everyone will be able to join since it's midday on a Monday, but maybe some people can eat lunch and hang out while we chat. ...

The heavy cream out normalizes my gut, I didn't even know the strong impact it had.

Fish, eggs, butter and MCT day here.

I might eat some bacon or pork belly not sure, I had a lot of butter today I need to check.

After meals I checked BG 82 and Ketons 1.1
Good to see that my body makes Ketones so grateful.

Listening to eating more fish again seems to balance my body like nothing else, interesting, because I do like beef a lot. I will keep it mixed it's more sustainable..

My “Panera” panic update… she changed her mind and wanted Texas Roadhouse! I ate 8 Oz of a 16 Oz ribeye and it was delicious!
