I have lost over 100 pounds on a Carnivore diet. I share my lifestyle and diet on IG and YouTube. I am looking to create a Locals community for my closest fans/supporters. I want them to be able to connect with each other and have access to exclusive content from me.

A carnivore success story...so earlier this year, February(?) My husband's cousin's husband dropped by our house to drop off some venison that they had harvested on our property. My husband tried giving him some boxes of candy we had received and weren't going to eat and the guy says "No thanks, we are starting carnivore tomorrow". Well we started chatting about it and that was the last I saw of him until last Friday at a wedding and WOW he looked amazing ! He said he had lost 50lbs and was off of all blood pressure and diabetic medicine. I am so happy for him because he looks fantastic and he says he has never felt better ! His wife said she tried it for a few weeks and just couldn't do it.... I hope she can see the benefits, but we all need our minds to be ready as well.

Cheese is good! I ate a block of chipotle oven baked cheese with lunch yesterday and it was divine. I love it, but know that it halts any progress I'm making, and will even trigger eating in excess to where I'll gain weight. It's sad but I have accepted it. If I eat it in small quantities with a meal, it's ok, but I really have to work to keep it in check.

What's your favorite cheese? How do you incorporate it? Do you see negative results when eating it?

Sunday, Aug 31st

Happy Sunday! Sharing a video today from our week, one of the highlights. This was Wednesday evening church, normally they have a more casual prayer meeting where someone plays the guitar, but they were doing some construction in the fellowship hall so they had their prayer meeting in the sanctuary. No one was there to play the piano so my my Grandma did it, she's been playing the piano in church for probably 80 years.

For context, she's 88, she had a really bad fall 5 years ago now and hit her head and ended up with a lot setbacks, similar to having a stroke. She has a lot of dementia like symptoms also (I am sure related to her Type 2 diabetes), she really can't read music anymore, and she has trouble seeing well, and she needs to wear hearing aids to hear but hates wearing them, so on this night she didn't want to wear them. My 93 (almost 94) year old grandpa takes care of both of them on their farm. Anyway, on this night she sat down on the piano and led worship as people called ...

Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well. I know some people in the group have had some recent tough news for themselves or family members. It really puts the day to day issues we face into perspective, and reminds me to just focus on doing the best I can to be as healthy as possible. To those who are having a hard time, we are all here for you and sending you some prayers and support. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Just focus today on doing the best you can and remember that food isn't going to bring you the comfort you are looking for.

Here is a little video of Penelopes performance from her piano recital l last night, she's been taking lessons for about a year and a half. 🎹🤍🖤

It's been a wild few weeks for us with travel, being away from home base and the kids and I starting school. Laura is leaving town on business this coming week as well. I've finally got my eating back to routine but it will be a long week so it's a big test of my resolve. My goal is to not stress eat in the evenings. This is one of the last bad habits I'm working on. It's so easy to distract myself during the day by staying busy but when the kids go to bed and I sit down to watch a show or something, I get weak.

Any tips for this scenario? What are the toughest times for you and how do you manage it?

Thursday, Sept 11th

I am feeling some profound sadness today. There have been so many violent tragic events over the last week, and then the horrific Charlie Kirk assassination yesterday. He was so young and had such young kids, it is so heartbreaking for them.

Today is also the anniversary of the tragic events on Sept 11th, which is another day of sadness and rememberce. None of this is "diet" related, but it is another reminder of why our health matters. Focus on quality time with your family and live your life each day to the fullest. 🙏🏼

Still sick but hanging on. Still lots of liquids and Vit C. Ran out of time to rebound yesterday. 😬🫣
I made a big batch of chicken salad for lunches today and this weekend. Also cooked 4 packages of bacon, which will end up being bacon crumbles.
