It's finally happy on this Saturday. We had a very powerful storm roll through around 4 a.m. with 90 mph winds and rain. We have a tree on our house, but thank you Father God, no real damage. We were without power for 16 hours. Again, thankful for the generator.
And we dealt with an electric fencer at the pasture all day. Over 140 miles in 2 trips to get that sorted out (finally just bought a new one.)
Kids came out so DS could help check pasture fences for downed trees. The grands and I helped our elderly neighbors pick up branches in their yard. (the going rate is .10 per stick, they all made over $20 and earned another dollar and candy bar from Miss Sharon & Mr Loren.)
It was a long day so I'm off to bed. Thankful for protection here. The no power was an inconvenience but we were all safe and no real damage.

Accountability
Full disclosure: I ate the pizza, crust and all. I was starving and tired and I figured I worked it off with all we did all day long. I'm not sorry and tomorrow I'll go back to full carnivore.

Saturday, Jan 18th

Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well. I know some people in the group have had some recent tough news for themselves or family members. It really puts the day to day issues we face into perspective, and reminds me to just focus on doing the best I can to be as healthy as possible. To those who are having a hard time, we are all here for you and sending you some prayers and support. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Just focus today on doing the best you can and remember that food isn't going to bring you the comfort you are looking for.

Thinking about the year ahead can be overwhelming when it comes to goal setting. For some people, like me, short term goals can be much more motivating. Right now it's beast mode through the Meetup this Saturday. That said, I do still have long term goals for the year. Staying carnivore is just a given now as it's my life already so I have to dive a little deeper for me. I'd like to stay in the same weight range but lower my body fat a bit. Gain some muscle mass in short. Gym at least 4 times a week and beast mode at the same time is my recipe.

Canceling The Livestream 😭

So sorry guys, my 2 1/2 hour drive home from the cabin is turning into a 5+ hour drive home so I am not going to make it in time to Livestream tonight. I'll post the link for the Dr Berry Livestream for tomorrow when I know it. I'll catch up on posts here when I get home if you have any questions.

Tues, Aug 12th

Happy Tuesday! I had a bunch of blood work done yesterday, it's been almost a year since I went to see my naturopath and had some initial blood work done. We were going to recheck everything earlier this year but with my surgery we just kept putting it off. So now we are rechecking all my hormones etc to see how things have changed. I'll keep you posted when I get the results in a couple weeks.

How are you feeling currently? In a groove or feeling stuck? What is your Non-negotiable for this week?

23 hours into my fast. I've been drinking plenty of LMNT.

We cut more limbs here at our house and Farmer took them to the ditch with the tractor. We had 5 brush piles. There is still one left he cannot get to until the yard dries out.

I heading to bed early tonight. Chiropractor tomorrow and I'm looking forward to chicken thighs and a burger or steak bites.

Being part of the 5am club for 2nd day... although it's hard to get out of bed God paints a beautiful sunrise. First mini walk. I will get plenty of steps in at school today and we have boyscouts tonight so I will walk during that as well.
