It's finally Friday (evening) Family!! Some weeks just go on forever....
It was a weird eating day. I woke up starving, which I never am. So one hot coffee and one iced coffee and a protein bar. The iced coffee had some different vanilla protein powder in it that instantly upset my stomach. Blech... Dealt with that for a couple of hours.
It is HOT and humid here which also makes me feel nauseous.
Home to thankfully cool off, then into the city for Date Night to Sam's of course and a sports bar for burgers.
I've felt off for the past 3 days. Partly the heat/humidity, horrormoans (the crabby w1tch is gone for another month) and maybe too many veggies? The garden tomatoes are coming on. But as much as my mouth loves them, my tummy does not.
Clean up day tomorrow. @Veebs , will do a 1-2 day egg fast and maybe add in a can or two per day of the fishies. Sunday evening will start a water fast, if anyone wants to join me. I always feel good the week after the hormones when I fast.
Another thing I'm feeling. I've not been tracking or really doing much other than eat carnivore (mostly). I did do the fishies with Veebs earlier but otherwise I'm just eating 2 meaty meals. And I feel (or did until today) good. Who knows if I've lost anything, probably not as my clothes fit the same, but I'm maintaining well. So that's a plus.
Do I want to lose some yet? Yes, but my head is tired of the effort and stress, so I've decided to just live and maintain for a bit. From how things are going now, I know I can just be and it'll be ok for the next few weeks/months.

Food
M1: too much coffee, protein shake and protein bar
M2: Leftover sirloin steak, purse bacon, 2 pieces of Carn Snax brisket
M3: 2 cheeseburger patties, bacon, tomato
Snack: protein bar and coffee again. (And I wonder why I feel ick. This is too much food for me in one day!!)
Hoping for some rebounding tomorrow and a calmer stomach.

Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well. I know some people in the group have had some recent tough news for themselves or family members. It really puts the day to day issues we face into perspective, and reminds me to just focus on doing the best I can to be as healthy as possible. To those who are having a hard time, we are all here for you and sending you some prayers and support. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Just focus today on doing the best you can and remember that food isn't going to bring you the comfort you are looking for.

Thinking about the year ahead can be overwhelming when it comes to goal setting. For some people, like me, short term goals can be much more motivating. Right now it's beast mode through the Meetup this Saturday. That said, I do still have long term goals for the year. Staying carnivore is just a given now as it's my life already so I have to dive a little deeper for me. I'd like to stay in the same weight range but lower my body fat a bit. Gain some muscle mass in short. Gym at least 4 times a week and beast mode at the same time is my recipe.

So sorry guys, my 2 1/2 hour drive home from the cabin is turning into a 5+ hour drive home so I am not going to make it in time to Livestream tonight. I'll post the link for the Dr Berry Livestream for tomorrow when I know it. I'll catch up on posts here when I get home if you have any questions.
Happy Saturday! Chris is out of town this weekend so the kids and I are mostly just hanging out. They have some plans with friends and then we'll volunteer at church tomorrow in addition to going to service. We will likely go to the Greek place after church Sunday and get kabobs for lunch since it's not Chris's favorite place to go. But we mostly will just be playing lots of games and doing puzzles all weekend.

Happy Friday! It's great to be home and sleeping in my own bed again! I definitely didn't get enough sleep this week. That's the trade off that seems to happen; I got all my shoes in and I made time to exercise, but then my sleep suffers. It often just feels like there are not enough hours in the day.
Here is a fun question for you for this Friday: If you had one extra hour in the day (as if a day was now 25 hours long), what would you do in that one extra hour?
For me: sleep 😴😂😂
Late, late, but still Thursday
Had a good day, but ate cheese like crazy 🫣. We are off work finally. Went to the shooting range for a few rounds, then for an amazing hike and last for a movie. Sketch. Its a great movie, in my opinion. A little scary for certain people but overall an great movie. Tomorrow will be a no cheese day.
