Good evening, everyone. Are you as happy as I am that today was the last day of this week? This will be a short little check-in. I am really doing well with the diet and recipes. No problem, in that department. I am going to make a concerted effort to put "rest" in my priority plan for this weekend. Everything else (that may come up) will have to take the backseat. I am not sure why I feel so tired...I am going to enjoy some r and r. I hope everyone will find time to recreate and reenergize, too. God Bless. And always remember it is better to be at peace than it is to be right. Grateful we are all connected. We will continue to stay posted.

Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well. I know some people in the group have had some recent tough news for themselves or family members. It really puts the day to day issues we face into perspective, and reminds me to just focus on doing the best I can to be as healthy as possible. To those who are having a hard time, we are all here for you and sending you some prayers and support. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Just focus today on doing the best you can and remember that food isn't going to bring you the comfort you are looking for.

Thinking about the year ahead can be overwhelming when it comes to goal setting. For some people, like me, short term goals can be much more motivating. Right now it's beast mode through the Meetup this Saturday. That said, I do still have long term goals for the year. Staying carnivore is just a given now as it's my life already so I have to dive a little deeper for me. I'd like to stay in the same weight range but lower my body fat a bit. Gain some muscle mass in short. Gym at least 4 times a week and beast mode at the same time is my recipe.

Canceling The Livestream 😭

So sorry guys, my 2 1/2 hour drive home from the cabin is turning into a 5+ hour drive home so I am not going to make it in time to Livestream tonight. I'll post the link for the Dr Berry Livestream for tomorrow when I know it. I'll catch up on posts here when I get home if you have any questions.

Saturday, June 28th

Happy Saturday!! Yesterday the 5 of us went to In-N-Out for lunch and we had 38 burger patties between us all. 😂 (They are 2oz patties). We all went on morning walk and then another walk in the evening.

We are headed to an arboretum this morning to enjoy some time outside. We'll be back in time to grill steaks and chicken for lunch! And of course check out the local Farmers Markets.

HAPPY FRIDAY! 🎉 We came up to the cabin yesterday with my Mom, I am excited to spend a fun (cooler) weekend up here. Last night we took a 1.5 mile walk together with all 5 of us, then Chris and I dropped off my Mom and kids at the house and made the same 1.5 mile walk again. We even did a sprint up the last big hill, Chris is pretty fast for an old man. 🤪😂

We plan to just spend lots of time outside enjoying the beautiful weather this weekend. What are your weekend plans?

Hello hello!!
Home from anniversary trip and prepping for for another week of travel. Two of my 3 kiddos and their families are traveling with us yo meet up with my brothers and a cousing amd her girls for a few days. Its about a 10 hour trip for us.... doing a LOT of cooking ahead so we can enjoy ourselves and not have to cook a lot. There will be 13 adults and 5 babies, 3 yes and under, so it will be a bit of a crowd. I ate off plan a bit over our anniversary and couldn't wait to get home to a pile of bacon and a steak!! Then it was ham and beef bacon and today.... roast! We got in a lot of steps for us, but the scale went up while I was gone bc of my choices. Looking forward to returning home a week from today (leaving Sunday) and getting into beast mode for July! Is anyone else thinking to hit it hard in July? I may be a bit behind at the start but I will join you strong when I get back home. I plan to eat high protein keto while gone next week and try to get in movement.
