Saturday, Jan 18th

Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well. I know some people in the group have had some recent tough news for themselves or family members. It really puts the day to day issues we face into perspective, and reminds me to just focus on doing the best I can to be as healthy as possible. To those who are having a hard time, we are all here for you and sending you some prayers and support. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Just focus today on doing the best you can and remember that food isn't going to bring you the comfort you are looking for.

Thinking about the year ahead can be overwhelming when it comes to goal setting. For some people, like me, short term goals can be much more motivating. Right now it's beast mode through the Meetup this Saturday. That said, I do still have long term goals for the year. Staying carnivore is just a given now as it's my life already so I have to dive a little deeper for me. I'd like to stay in the same weight range but lower my body fat a bit. Gain some muscle mass in short. Gym at least 4 times a week and beast mode at the same time is my recipe.

Canceling The Livestream 😭

So sorry guys, my 2 1/2 hour drive home from the cabin is turning into a 5+ hour drive home so I am not going to make it in time to Livestream tonight. I'll post the link for the Dr Berry Livestream for tomorrow when I know it. I'll catch up on posts here when I get home if you have any questions.

Thanks for hanging out on the Livestream last night! I found the talk I was mentioning that Amy Berger gave a few years a go that really impacted me. It was the first time I had heard an "expert" sharing a story about how she struggled the way I did. It really helped me understand what was going on with my obsessive thoughts about food. If you are someone struggling I encourage you to watch it.

I also talked last night about the upcoming Carnivore Made Simple course by Dr. Eric Westman and Amy Berger that I am going to be a part of. I will be an admin for their Facebook group and help with some of the livestreams etc. It is a very thorough online course that breaks down all the science behind carnivore, answers all the quesitons people have, and in a very simple way help to explain what is carnivore and why it works. The course launches on July 28th for sign ups and they will give me a discount code to share with you on that day. It's a self paced course and then the Facebook group...

Laura, I had an idea for you to make some videos about. I would like to see how you care for your grill, your iron skillets, and other appliances as well as keeping your kitchen and dishes grease free from all the fat that we eat.

Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Are you feeling good this Monday morning? I know many people have been talking about struggling lately. As of today we have 10 days left in the month, it is a great time to set some short term goals and get yourself back mentally focused.

What is one simple non-negotiable goal you can set for the next 10 days to help give you some daily wins and build some momentum? Remember to keep it very simple and make it something easy to accomplish that will have a big impact in getting you back on track.
