Shop local and in bulk if you can. This little pop shop is 45mins away had boneless ribeye for $11lb for whole pimal prime. They sliced it to my thickness and offered to package it. Out of the meat case boneless ribeye is $17/lb. It is a lot upfront but saves in the long run. We ended with 47 steaks!!
Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well. I know some people in the group have had some recent tough news for themselves or family members. It really puts the day to day issues we face into perspective, and reminds me to just focus on doing the best I can to be as healthy as possible. To those who are having a hard time, we are all here for you and sending you some prayers and support. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Just focus today on doing the best you can and remember that food isn't going to bring you the comfort you are looking for.
Here is a little video of Penelopes performance from her piano recital l last night, she's been taking lessons for about a year and a half. 🎹🤍🖤

Thinking about the year ahead can be overwhelming when it comes to goal setting. For some people, like me, short term goals can be much more motivating. Right now it's beast mode through the Meetup this Saturday. That said, I do still have long term goals for the year. Staying carnivore is just a given now as it's my life already so I have to dive a little deeper for me. I'd like to stay in the same weight range but lower my body fat a bit. Gain some muscle mass in short. Gym at least 4 times a week and beast mode at the same time is my recipe.
Steak video for interest. 🤪
Do you do better with short or long term goals?
So sorry guys, my 2 1/2 hour drive home from the cabin is turning into a 5+ hour drive home so I am not going to make it in time to Livestream tonight. I'll post the link for the Dr Berry Livestream for tomorrow when I know it. I'll catch up on posts here when I get home if you have any questions.
Happy Father's Day to Chris and all the other Dad's in the group!! We will be at all 3 church services this morning (volunteering) and then come home for a nice lunch and a relaxing afternoon. I was asking Chris where he wants to eat and he said "I get to eat my favorite food everyday so what different can I have because it's Father's l Day". 😂 🥩🥩
I am so blessed to have Chris as my partner, he is such an amazing Dad and takes care of all of us everyday!! He sets such a good example for our kids everyday! Drop some pictures below if you have some you want to share of any special Dad's in your life!
Happy Saturday!! I walked 5.5 miles yesterday, it has become ALMOST fun. 😂😂 I am very motivated by metrics and competing with myself so now that I have my tracker I think it will be fun to keep going. I also made it to the red light bed and the sauna everyday this week. I am feeling very good physically and mentally, the only downside.... I am CONSTANTLY sweaty 😂😂 (the 110°F heat here isn't helping).
Today we are going to Fogo de Chao (all you can eat meat) for an early Fathers Day lunch for Chris. We are going to a pottery painting place before that, we wanted an Indoor activity to do as a family before lunch. I will have to do my walking in the afternoon (indoors thankfully).
Chris will go to the gym in the morning, before any of us are awake. And then even in this heat he will still do his daily walk outside in the evenings outside. He has done that consistently for the last 7 years.
How are you moving your body today?
