Accountability Post - possible trigger warning:
Sitting in my car outside before I head into work and feeling so blah.
Got the monthly last night and today is very uncomfortable.
Managed to avoid the donuts this morning, despite the cravings.
Drank some bone broth this morning as I was up early.
Nothing but sugary carbs sounds appealing.
Heavy whipping cream does but alas I have none.
Couldn’t stop at Starbucks to get some, because, as husband pointed out yesterday, I’ve spent $88 there in 10 days!
Food for today: I have 3 eggs with me and 1lb of ground beef, should make work lunch for today and tomorrow.
I also have a little butter and Tajin seasoning.

My NN for today is no tea 😭
But I know this is for my own good.

I need a hug, a hot bath for 2 hours, and a blanket to curl up in the couch with, but alas, I shall adult today.

Saturday, Jan 18th

Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well. I know some people in the group have had some recent tough news for themselves or family members. It really puts the day to day issues we face into perspective, and reminds me to just focus on doing the best I can to be as healthy as possible. To those who are having a hard time, we are all here for you and sending you some prayers and support. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Just focus today on doing the best you can and remember that food isn't going to bring you the comfort you are looking for.

Thinking about the year ahead can be overwhelming when it comes to goal setting. For some people, like me, short term goals can be much more motivating. Right now it's beast mode through the Meetup this Saturday. That said, I do still have long term goals for the year. Staying carnivore is just a given now as it's my life already so I have to dive a little deeper for me. I'd like to stay in the same weight range but lower my body fat a bit. Gain some muscle mass in short. Gym at least 4 times a week and beast mode at the same time is my recipe.

Canceling The Livestream 😭

So sorry guys, my 2 1/2 hour drive home from the cabin is turning into a 5+ hour drive home so I am not going to make it in time to Livestream tonight. I'll post the link for the Dr Berry Livestream for tomorrow when I know it. I'll catch up on posts here when I get home if you have any questions.

Friday, June 13th

Happy Friday!! How has your week been? It's been a little chaotic around here but all good things. Nathaniel had kids camp at church this week and they had the final party last night. That was CHAOS with 400+ kids and their families 😂🤪 and outside in the 100°F+ heat for a few hours. I was glad to go home to a calm (air conditioned) house. 😂 It was all wonderful I just get overstimulated in that environment.

I am pretty proud of myself this week. With my new walking pad set up I have walked the last 3 days while working. Yesterday I walked 5 miles throughout the day. Today my new Whoop tracker will be delivered so I'll be glad to have a more accurate tracker.

It's Father's Day weekend in the US so Happy Early Father's Day to any Dad's in the group. What are your plans for the weekend?

Since I'm not working yet, you get another from me. Someone on a carnivore FB group posted this in response to "rewarding" one's self in a way that is not food.

"Like you I don't have much money so I can't reward myself big. I eat the same lean cuts of meat simply because they're cheap. I give myself $100 and that has the last me all month for food. So what I do is, I get out my good plates, my good glasses, and I set a real pretty table for myself. I get on YouTube and play soft jazz... "

Hey all, best ideas for really BAD headache, probably the result of a very tight neck on the right side.

Just got to work, avoided all junk and no tea.

Heading to chiropractor after work, will use a tens machine when the baby sleeps, and have taken an Alieve. Husband also cracked my back and I still feel miserable with pain.

But hey ITS THE WEEKEND!!!!!!
