I have lost over 100 pounds on a Carnivore diet. I share my lifestyle and diet on IG and YouTube. I am looking to create a Locals community for my closest fans/supporters. I want them to be able to connect with each other and have access to exclusive content from me.

I met a friend for breakfast and thrift/antique store shopping yesterday. The last time we met she was curious about the health changes I had made...sadly she had not made any of those changes since I saw her last year. This year was the same discussion with "I really need to do something" and then she ordered crepes with the gooey strawberry glaze and whipped cream covered in syrup for breakfast 😱. It looked so gross to me. All could think of was what that would have done to my body ugh. Anyway, two positives to report, my stepdaughter is living with us and has gone somewhat lower carb. No bread, or refined carbs or white sugar. She will eat fruit and vegetables though. She was telling me about how much better she was feeling, she has lost 15 pounds in about 3 weeks and she had some comparison pictures and wow the difference is amazing ! I am so happy for her. The other positive ...

was an NSV for me at the thrift store.. I wanted some dressier tops besides t-shirts and I went to the plus size section, but I also grabbed some XL and L. Well I found shirts in L and XL !! No more plus size shopping for me !! The funny thing about this is I found 1 dressier shirt and the rest were just nicer T-shirts lol.

Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well. I know some people in the group have had some recent tough news for themselves or family members. It really puts the day to day issues we face into perspective, and reminds me to just focus on doing the best I can to be as healthy as possible. To those who are having a hard time, we are all here for you and sending you some prayers and support. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Just focus today on doing the best you can and remember that food isn't going to bring you the comfort you are looking for.

Here is a little video of Penelopes performance from her piano recital l last night, she's been taking lessons for about a year and a half. 🎹🤍🖤

Thinking about the year ahead can be overwhelming when it comes to goal setting. For some people, like me, short term goals can be much more motivating. Right now it's beast mode through the Meetup this Saturday. That said, I do still have long term goals for the year. Staying carnivore is just a given now as it's my life already so I have to dive a little deeper for me. I'd like to stay in the same weight range but lower my body fat a bit. Gain some muscle mass in short. Gym at least 4 times a week and beast mode at the same time is my recipe.

Steak video for interest. 🤪

Do you do better with short or long term goals?

Canceling The Livestream 😭

So sorry guys, my 2 1/2 hour drive home from the cabin is turning into a 5+ hour drive home so I am not going to make it in time to Livestream tonight. I'll post the link for the Dr Berry Livestream for tomorrow when I know it. I'll catch up on posts here when I get home if you have any questions.

Happy Friday!!

Well I have reached the point in my Beast Mode that always happens. Weight loss has been going well, and I'm feeling good...but over time it always happens that I gradually end up under eating. Chris had to kindly remind me yesterday that I definitely haven't been eating enough the last couple of days, and he's going out of town this weekend so he gave me very strict instructions on eating more and eating more fat. (Especially with the exercise I've been doing). 😂😂

It is a really hard thing mentally though to convince yourself that you need to eat more when the scale has been going down. You get so scared of seeing the scale go up again that in your mind all you can think about is just eating less. It's a balance because I definitely can tell that my body is needing more energy right now and I know that I really need to up my fat intake. But even after all these years of doing this I still just get nervous about gaining weight. It's just so much easier for me ...

While Laura has been a beast every day, walking mile after mile, I have been having to basically reduce to my movement to close to zero. On Monday during jiu jitsu class, my training partner accidentally whacked his knee right on mine. It's been swollen and sore ever since. Definitely a bone bruise and nothing structural thankfully. No walks and no class for the rest of the week at least. Problem is my appetite doesn't go away, and with the reduction in my mental health time (walking), I want to eat constantly. With my normal activity levels, I can eat liberally and maintain or lose. This week is a struggle and I will stall or likely gain. Once a food addict, always a food addict. After 7 years this is still a challenge.

Do you feel you have food addiction? What's your go to strategy to mitigate it?

I did it, I quit. It was the most bizarre experience. The supervisor and owner were in the owners office when I got there and I told them and the owner just said, “Ok, send me an email.” I already had a letter printed and so I said no need here’s my resignation. They said thank you for telling us and that was that. I told my coworker and he shrugged and said ok, nice meeting you. It was like being in the twilight zone. I was happy to grab my few personal touches off my desk and shake the dust off of my feet as I left. I rested most of the day mostly an emotional reset. Then finished the day with a nice swim.
I bought one of those fancy scales that measures bone, fat, water and muscle. I’m hoping this will help me in my journey.
