Our guilty pleasure is sugar free whipped cream. Not clean carnivore but certainly is a nice treat. We are on a roadtrip to maine for our annual mothers day 5k. Im down 23lb hes down 33. We may try to find out how to make whipped cream ourself in a can to clean it up

Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well. I know some people in the group have had some recent tough news for themselves or family members. It really puts the day to day issues we face into perspective, and reminds me to just focus on doing the best I can to be as healthy as possible. To those who are having a hard time, we are all here for you and sending you some prayers and support. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Just focus today on doing the best you can and remember that food isn't going to bring you the comfort you are looking for.

Thinking about the year ahead can be overwhelming when it comes to goal setting. For some people, like me, short term goals can be much more motivating. Right now it's beast mode through the Meetup this Saturday. That said, I do still have long term goals for the year. Staying carnivore is just a given now as it's my life already so I have to dive a little deeper for me. I'd like to stay in the same weight range but lower my body fat a bit. Gain some muscle mass in short. Gym at least 4 times a week and beast mode at the same time is my recipe.

Canceling The Livestream 😭

So sorry guys, my 2 1/2 hour drive home from the cabin is turning into a 5+ hour drive home so I am not going to make it in time to Livestream tonight. I'll post the link for the Dr Berry Livestream for tomorrow when I know it. I'll catch up on posts here when I get home if you have any questions.

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mom's in the group! 💐❤️ I hope you are feeling so special and have a wonderful day! I also acknowledge that this day is very hard for a lot of people, so if that is you I am sending you hugs and prayers. 💔

It's been wild and wooly around here. Tis the season.

It's been a weekend of family visits and flowers.

I've finally finished off the HWC and I'm finding I really don't mind black coffee, hot or iced. YAY! I think my biggest thing was the "comfort" of the whipped cream in my cuppa. Glad to hopefully have that monkey off my back.
I'm finding as I try out other "treats" here and there, I'm really not enjoying them as much as I though I would.
I'm doing a N=1 from time to time to see what I am still battling. I'm finding that sugar really don't have a hold on me much. And that I really have to battle snacking if I eat lunch. Yet if I don't eat lunch, I don't get in enough protein. Last week was very low for what I should have.
So this week, no fasting and VERY clean BBES (no bacon).
I'm happy that the food addictions are being dealt with and God is giving me the wisdom to see what I should be eating for my best life.

Ok, off to enjoy ...

Well, I have to confess I had 1 drink last night. After a full day of hiking with friends we see once or twice a year and a delicious steak dinner, I caved. After 2 sips, it’s wasn’t as tasty. I am learning that the cravings are so much greater than the actual taste of the food/drink.

I did 28 days strict Lion. I’m not starting at day 1 again as this was just a 30 day challenge and I almost made it. I do plan to stay with Lion- maybe add eggs and bacon occasionally? I have to say the macros work out very nicely with burgers and steak, I didn’t snack at all, ditching the coffee/HWC/stevia helped extend my fasting hours, and I’m losing body fat.

Now I want to focus on adding wts and yoga.
