I will be back to an all day event tomorrow again and will use this opportunity to fast.
Using salt water electrolytes and coffee/decaf with MCT/butter or black. not suer yet. I feel so uplifted already just by make this conscious decision.🙏

Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well. I know some people in the group have had some recent tough news for themselves or family members. It really puts the day to day issues we face into perspective, and reminds me to just focus on doing the best I can to be as healthy as possible. To those who are having a hard time, we are all here for you and sending you some prayers and support. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Just focus today on doing the best you can and remember that food isn't going to bring you the comfort you are looking for.

Thinking about the year ahead can be overwhelming when it comes to goal setting. For some people, like me, short term goals can be much more motivating. Right now it's beast mode through the Meetup this Saturday. That said, I do still have long term goals for the year. Staying carnivore is just a given now as it's my life already so I have to dive a little deeper for me. I'd like to stay in the same weight range but lower my body fat a bit. Gain some muscle mass in short. Gym at least 4 times a week and beast mode at the same time is my recipe.

Canceling The Livestream 😭

So sorry guys, my 2 1/2 hour drive home from the cabin is turning into a 5+ hour drive home so I am not going to make it in time to Livestream tonight. I'll post the link for the Dr Berry Livestream for tomorrow when I know it. I'll catch up on posts here when I get home if you have any questions.

Hello tribe.

Today marks one month since that post I made about losing weight for the summer. Well for me it was 8lbs off as of this morning. I am so happy 🥳. I really believed the lie I told myself that my metabolism it's just slow. It's not. I just need to stick to the plan and stop being a self deceiver.

I hit 12 weeks today and the scale is starting to move. I’m down a total of 8 pounds. It’s been discouraging at times that the scale wasn’t moving, but I keep reminding myself I’m in this for the long haul, not just for quick weight loss. I’m eating more these days and seem to have found a nice rhythm. I hope I can keep it up!!

Hello.

Hope everyone had a good day. I got another interview date for a cath lab at the VA on May 1st. A light from heaven. Today I was called the B word by a patient, he then threw a bag of urine at me. Long story-short, I am the one with a complaint in her record. I cried and prayed. Tomorrow will be a new day. I am praying for less drama and a normal day when I only have my food to share with you all.

I have been very loyal to carnivore trying to feel better now matter what life throws at me. Even urine 🤭.
