I have lost over 100 pounds on a Carnivore diet. I share my lifestyle and diet on IG and YouTube. I am looking to create a Locals community for my closest fans/supporters. I want them to be able to connect with each other and have access to exclusive content from me.

Happy Sunday! If you didn't know TikTok was banned last night, I have never had a TikTok account so it doesn't affect me at all, but I do know it's impacting a lot of people. Were you on TikTok at all? Apparently there are rumors Trump will allow them to extend operations for 90 days until they workout a long term plan once he takes office on Monday. We don't make things political in this group but it will be very interesting to see how things change overall with the new administration. We already see things shifting with the banning of Red 3, and hopefully we can get the rest of the food dyes out of our foods soon! And I think the Make America Healthy Again movement is going to really start building some positive momentum.

Today we are making my favorite meal, the skirt steak, chicken thighs, and shrimp on the griddle. Thankfully I am still off work tomorrow for the holiday, I am excited to catch up with everyone on a Monday night Livestream at 4pm pst/7pm est (since it's a holiday we'll start a little earlier). Have a great day!!

Cheese is good! I ate a block of chipotle oven baked cheese with lunch yesterday and it was divine. I love it, but know that it halts any progress I'm making, and will even trigger eating in excess to where I'll gain weight. It's sad but I have accepted it. If I eat it in small quantities with a meal, it's ok, but I really have to work to keep it in check.

What's your favorite cheese? How do you incorporate it? Do you see negative results when eating it?

Happy Sunday! Sharing a video today from our week, one of the highlights. This was Wednesday evening church, normally they have a more casual prayer meeting where someone plays the guitar, but they were doing some construction in the fellowship hall so they had their prayer meeting in the sanctuary. No one was there to play the piano so my my Grandma did it, she's been playing the piano in church for probably 80 years.

For context, she's 88, she had a really bad fall 5 years ago now and hit her head and ended up with a lot setbacks, similar to having a stroke. She has a lot of dementia like symptoms also (I am sure related to her Type 2 diabetes), she really can't read music anymore, and she has trouble seeing well, and she needs to wear hearing aids to hear but hates wearing them, so on this night she didn't want to wear them. My 93 (almost 94) year old grandpa takes care of both of them on their farm. Anyway, on this night she sat down on the piano and led worship as people called ...

Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well. I know some people in the group have had some recent tough news for themselves or family members. It really puts the day to day issues we face into perspective, and reminds me to just focus on doing the best I can to be as healthy as possible. To those who are having a hard time, we are all here for you and sending you some prayers and support. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Just focus today on doing the best you can and remember that food isn't going to bring you the comfort you are looking for.

Here is a little video of Penelopes performance from her piano recital l last night, she's been taking lessons for about a year and a half. 🎹🤍🖤

Tuesday, December 2nd

So sorry again for having to cancel the Livestream last night, thank you all for your prayers. Being constantly dizzy just makes me so nauseous and is very exhausting. I had this type of vertigo last December as well, it lasted a couple weeks and then went away. Not sure if it's the change in weather causing it or just a coincidence that it was 2 Decembers in a row. I have been doing the Epley Maneuver exercises (attached video) to try and relieve it, they help but things get worse for a few days first.

I am headed out on a work trip today, a quick 48 hours to Calgary and back for some meetings and a holiday party. Thankfully I am not driving and hoping flying doesn't increase my vertigo. It also could be due to the binders I am taking so I might back those off during my trip.

Do you notice any physical changes as the weather changes?

Exercise accountability--I did a walk to the river (2miles round trip) and since scouts was canceled I did a quick 15min walk in town. I was a lot less bundled up for that second walk. Burr! Hopefully there is school tomorrow! Everyone is restless.

Quickly:

First a poll: Did you all get good training when you started your current job (&/or previous jobs?) In my working career of 10 jobs in the last 35 years, I have been properly trained in maybe 2 of them. It seems to be the normal for me, that I get dumped in with minimal direction, if any and left to sink or swim. This new job is the same. Thank goodness I know something about computers and quickbooks, but their way of clocking time on jobs and just getting into their system is bananas! I had a mini-meltdown this afternoon. It's my 2nd day and I was left alone most of the afternoon and had to close up and lock the office. I did give myself a talking to, that no-one was expecting me to be 100% proficient my second day, especially when I had to remote into another computer in the main office (that has been the hardest part so far.)
NOTE: Even though this is a bit hard, it's still MILES better than the stress at my previous job!

And then my key, nor the alternate spare key would lock the ...
