I have lost over 100 pounds on a Carnivore diet. I share my lifestyle and diet on IG and YouTube. I am looking to create a Locals community for my closest fans/supporters. I want them to be able to connect with each other and have access to exclusive content from me.

We had such a good time yesterday at the Healing Humanity event. Chris did such a good job on his talk, very proud of him. It's always so fun to meet so many people in real life. The dinner after at the Brazilian steakhouse was chaos but very fun! I didn't get many pictures so if anyone else got some feel free to post them. I shared pictures from some of the other people that spoke.

Today we are going to church and then after that I am going to try and do NOTHING for the rest of the day. I had a really long week at work and just need one day of rest before this busy upcoming week. My Mom also flies home early this morning and is going back to snowstorms so please send her some warm prayers for safe travels. Anything we can be praying for you for today?

*Reminder the Livesream this week will be Thursday evening.

Big Day!

Yesterday we surprised the kids and brought home a puppy!! They have been begging for one for years and we felt like the time was right to bring one home.

Meet Angus 🐕 He's a Golden Retriever/King Charles Cavalier Spaniel mix. He's 11 weeks old and currently weighs about 8 pounds, he should be around 35 pounds fully grown. I know it will be an adjustment for a while as he gets potty trained etc but we are so excited. 😂 Wish us luck! 🤪

Cheese is good! I ate a block of chipotle oven baked cheese with lunch yesterday and it was divine. I love it, but know that it halts any progress I'm making, and will even trigger eating in excess to where I'll gain weight. It's sad but I have accepted it. If I eat it in small quantities with a meal, it's ok, but I really have to work to keep it in check.

What's your favorite cheese? How do you incorporate it? Do you see negative results when eating it?

Happy Sunday! Sharing a video today from our week, one of the highlights. This was Wednesday evening church, normally they have a more casual prayer meeting where someone plays the guitar, but they were doing some construction in the fellowship hall so they had their prayer meeting in the sanctuary. No one was there to play the piano so my my Grandma did it, she's been playing the piano in church for probably 80 years.

For context, she's 88, she had a really bad fall 5 years ago now and hit her head and ended up with a lot setbacks, similar to having a stroke. She has a lot of dementia like symptoms also (I am sure related to her Type 2 diabetes), she really can't read music anymore, and she has trouble seeing well, and she needs to wear hearing aids to hear but hates wearing them, so on this night she didn't want to wear them. My 93 (almost 94) year old grandpa takes care of both of them on their farm. Anyway, on this night she sat down on the piano and led worship as people called ...

Happy Monday!! We are flying home today from WV, it's been a very special visit but we are looking forward to sleeping in our own beds tonight. Lots of big family meals, but always options that are Carnivore/Low Carb friendly. In our family, there are several diabetics (or recovering diabetics) so everyone is always considerate of making sure there are sugar free options.

Group meal examples: My aunt made a huge batch of grilled chicken for everyone, and kept the bbq sauce off for people to add on the side if they wanted it. She also had a large deli meat/cheese platter to make sandwiches or just eat plain.
-We did grilled burgers and hot dogs, with make your own versions, add your own cheese or bacon, you could use a lettuce wrap or add a bun, just do what works for you.
-We fed everyone with a huge taco bar and did the same thing. Keep it carnivore friendly, or use lettuce, or turn it into a burrito.

We relaxed some but I also went on long walks a few times to keep my ...

Happy Sunday, we are having a very special visit in WV. Yesterday was a big family reunion celebrating my grandparents 70th wedding anniversary. We had 43 people there, all direct descendants from my grandparents (and spouses). The only people that couldn't come were my brother and his wife and kids. But special to think of 2 people getting married 70 years ago and now there are 47 people as a result of their loving marriage.

We have a few special things planned today, and then we fly home tomorrow. What are you up to this weekend?
