Okay I never ask this (and normally I don't care), but this is my first video working with Thrive as a sponsor so I would love for it to have good reactions. If you watched my Fridge/Freezer video and liked it can you go give it a Thumbs up please and even possibly put a comment (not about Thrive just in general). Please 🙏🏼❤️

That kind of stuff early on definitely helps videos be recommended more and can help with views overall.

Thanks!!!

Cheese is good! I ate a block of chipotle oven baked cheese with lunch yesterday and it was divine. I love it, but know that it halts any progress I'm making, and will even trigger eating in excess to where I'll gain weight. It's sad but I have accepted it. If I eat it in small quantities with a meal, it's ok, but I really have to work to keep it in check.

What's your favorite cheese? How do you incorporate it? Do you see negative results when eating it?

Sunday, Aug 31st

Happy Sunday! Sharing a video today from our week, one of the highlights. This was Wednesday evening church, normally they have a more casual prayer meeting where someone plays the guitar, but they were doing some construction in the fellowship hall so they had their prayer meeting in the sanctuary. No one was there to play the piano so my my Grandma did it, she's been playing the piano in church for probably 80 years.

For context, she's 88, she had a really bad fall 5 years ago now and hit her head and ended up with a lot setbacks, similar to having a stroke. She has a lot of dementia like symptoms also (I am sure related to her Type 2 diabetes), she really can't read music anymore, and she has trouble seeing well, and she needs to wear hearing aids to hear but hates wearing them, so on this night she didn't want to wear them. My 93 (almost 94) year old grandpa takes care of both of them on their farm. Anyway, on this night she sat down on the piano and led worship as people called ...

Saturday, Jan 18th

Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well. I know some people in the group have had some recent tough news for themselves or family members. It really puts the day to day issues we face into perspective, and reminds me to just focus on doing the best I can to be as healthy as possible. To those who are having a hard time, we are all here for you and sending you some prayers and support. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Just focus today on doing the best you can and remember that food isn't going to bring you the comfort you are looking for.

Here is a little video of Penelopes performance from her piano recital l last night, she's been taking lessons for about a year and a half. 🎹🤍🖤

Accountability post:

Blood glucose: 136

B: coffee, LMNT, collagen, HWC
D: 1.5 chicken leg quarters

I’ve been very nauseous today. I took my Mounjaro last night and I also started my cycle. (Sorry guys)

I didn’t really feel like eating; so I didn’t. I had to force myself to finish my coffee (for the LMNT and the little protein from my collagen.) I don’t think I could’ve even drank a protein shake today.

I ended up taking a long warm bath and getting in bed a hours earlier than normal. Hoping to feel better tomorrow!

Happy Tuesday.
The taxes are at the accountant, let's hope my befuddled brain got it all correct. (I'm pretty sure it's ok. I double-checked and requested that if our accountant finds something wonky, to call me. Good thing I work a block away.)

We are both feeling the affects of late winter? colds? chem-trails? 🤷‍♀🤷‍♂ All I know is I'm dang tired of feeling this tired. I need warmth and sunshine!
And for my ears to clear up! I guess it's better than the stomach flu or a chest cold.

I'm getting back into the Lion diet gear. I don't feel great when I eat other meats like chicken or pork. I can do the occasional wings or bacon, but thats about it. We're going to request that our hunter doesn't give us bacon anymore as "rent" but maybe a chuck roll instead. Or gift card to the "fancy" butcher shop in the city.

Also will be cutting back on the dairy (again). I'll finish up the Greek yogurt and the HWC and that'll be it for a while.
I need to get my "ROAR" back. (Someone come up ...

Question---what do you do when you have a upset stomach?? Today while at school I got the worst upset stomach out of nowhere! I assume I did something somewhere (too much fat or too much coffee) or kid germs got me. Anywho...what is your go to?? I usually have mints or Tums just in case because it's better then a cracker. Sadly I had neither today and ate several saltine crackers before a fellow teacher gave me a couple mints. I seriously thought I might puke---it passed thank goodness.

Tomorrow I will sip on beef bone broth all day and try to stay away from both food and coffee. I wonder if I put broth in my travel thermos if that would keep?? Hmm. As a side note I ran over my favorite water bottle today with my car. Stay safe out there!
