I have lost over 100 pounds on a Carnivore diet. I share my lifestyle and diet on IG and YouTube. I am looking to create a Locals community for my closest fans/supporters. I want them to be able to connect with each other and have access to exclusive content from me.

Happy 1/1/25

I have been thinking a lot this past week. I went into my scale app and went back 5 years. The same pattern happens every year the end of December I would weigh and I am guessing didn't like it and didn't weigh again until January or February. It is just interesting because I drop weight all year and by end of Dec gained a lot back then January/February start again. However I did notice something positive. Everytime I start again in Jan/Feb I was always lower than the year before. I am still down 30 lbs then I was this time last year. This is still been a great accomplishment even though I have gained I am still at my lowest. Starting at the weight I am now is freaking awesome to me. I am excited to get to goal this year. I know it will happen. I have no doubt. That is so exciting to me.

I found a notebook and I had no idea what was in it. It was the picture of some quotes. I feel like I wrote them down and never looked at them again. I am going to try to commit to reading them everyday as a reminder of what I am doing and why.

I got this prayer book as well and I figured I share the very first page. So many things I want to happen this year. However I know it takes patience and it is in his timing.

Thankful for all of you and the support of this group! 2025 is going to be great❤

Big Day!

Yesterday we surprised the kids and brought home a puppy!! They have been begging for one for years and we felt like the time was right to bring one home.

Meet Angus 🐕 He's a Golden Retriever/King Charles Cavalier Spaniel mix. He's 11 weeks old and currently weighs about 8 pounds, he should be around 35 pounds fully grown. I know it will be an adjustment for a while as he gets potty trained etc but we are so excited. 😂 Wish us luck! 🤪

Cheese is good! I ate a block of chipotle oven baked cheese with lunch yesterday and it was divine. I love it, but know that it halts any progress I'm making, and will even trigger eating in excess to where I'll gain weight. It's sad but I have accepted it. If I eat it in small quantities with a meal, it's ok, but I really have to work to keep it in check.

What's your favorite cheese? How do you incorporate it? Do you see negative results when eating it?

Happy Sunday! Sharing a video today from our week, one of the highlights. This was Wednesday evening church, normally they have a more casual prayer meeting where someone plays the guitar, but they were doing some construction in the fellowship hall so they had their prayer meeting in the sanctuary. No one was there to play the piano so my my Grandma did it, she's been playing the piano in church for probably 80 years.

For context, she's 88, she had a really bad fall 5 years ago now and hit her head and ended up with a lot setbacks, similar to having a stroke. She has a lot of dementia like symptoms also (I am sure related to her Type 2 diabetes), she really can't read music anymore, and she has trouble seeing well, and she needs to wear hearing aids to hear but hates wearing them, so on this night she didn't want to wear them. My 93 (almost 94) year old grandpa takes care of both of them on their farm. Anyway, on this night she sat down on the piano and led worship as people called ...

It's been a wild few weeks in the Spath household. Lots of stress and anxiety which typically drives bad behavior with food in my case. Laura made sure I had a whole rib roast to cut into steaks so that I had plenty of proper fuel. Spent an hour yesterday cutting it up, along with a bunch of sirloin cap. We are stocked.

Do you cut up your own steaks? How are your butchery skills?

HAPPY SUNDAY!

I know I have not shared in a while. I been around commenting. I went out with my husband last night and hung out with friends. It was a fun night celebrating some bdays and St Patrick's Day. I had some yummy Diet Coke while others were drinking. I will update more when I get a moment. Enjoy the rest of your weekend❤

I've been here off and on all week. This time changed really kicked my behind and work was busy.
I've gotten used to no HWC in my coffee. I miss the creaminess but not the bloat and calories.
I'm cutting back on the dairy as the sour cream and cottage cheese give me the same bloat. I can do small amounts of yogurt and cheese. I'd like to see if homemade yogurt affects me but I don't need it that much so I'll wait until summer to make some.
Today is blowing and snowing. Yuck! I'm hoping western Nebraska is getting the snow to help put out the wild fires. If you pray, Nebraska could use some!
On the food: I have a brisket that I will be putting in the crockpot tomorrow to get it cooked. I had hoped to make beef chips from it but it's been over a week and I'm not getting it done, so crockpot it is. I have 2 more in the freezer, so I can try again another time.
We also have some sirloin and filet steaks thawed, so those either tonight or Tuesday as fajitas.
Sleep has been better this...
