I have lost over 100 pounds on a Carnivore diet. I share my lifestyle and diet on IG and YouTube. I am looking to create a Locals community for my closest fans/supporters. I want them to be able to connect with each other and have access to exclusive content from me.

Happy 1/1/25

I have been thinking a lot this past week. I went into my scale app and went back 5 years. The same pattern happens every year the end of December I would weigh and I am guessing didn't like it and didn't weigh again until January or February. It is just interesting because I drop weight all year and by end of Dec gained a lot back then January/February start again. However I did notice something positive. Everytime I start again in Jan/Feb I was always lower than the year before. I am still down 30 lbs then I was this time last year. This is still been a great accomplishment even though I have gained I am still at my lowest. Starting at the weight I am now is freaking awesome to me. I am excited to get to goal this year. I know it will happen. I have no doubt. That is so exciting to me.

I found a notebook and I had no idea what was in it. It was the picture of some quotes. I feel like I wrote them down and never looked at them again. I am going to try to commit to reading them everyday as a reminder of what I am doing and why.

I got this prayer book as well and I figured I share the very first page. So many things I want to happen this year. However I know it takes patience and it is in his timing.

Thankful for all of you and the support of this group! 2025 is going to be great❤

Cheese is good! I ate a block of chipotle oven baked cheese with lunch yesterday and it was divine. I love it, but know that it halts any progress I'm making, and will even trigger eating in excess to where I'll gain weight. It's sad but I have accepted it. If I eat it in small quantities with a meal, it's ok, but I really have to work to keep it in check.

What's your favorite cheese? How do you incorporate it? Do you see negative results when eating it?

Happy Sunday! Sharing a video today from our week, one of the highlights. This was Wednesday evening church, normally they have a more casual prayer meeting where someone plays the guitar, but they were doing some construction in the fellowship hall so they had their prayer meeting in the sanctuary. No one was there to play the piano so my my Grandma did it, she's been playing the piano in church for probably 80 years.

For context, she's 88, she had a really bad fall 5 years ago now and hit her head and ended up with a lot setbacks, similar to having a stroke. She has a lot of dementia like symptoms also (I am sure related to her Type 2 diabetes), she really can't read music anymore, and she has trouble seeing well, and she needs to wear hearing aids to hear but hates wearing them, so on this night she didn't want to wear them. My 93 (almost 94) year old grandpa takes care of both of them on their farm. Anyway, on this night she sat down on the piano and led worship as people called ...

Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well. I know some people in the group have had some recent tough news for themselves or family members. It really puts the day to day issues we face into perspective, and reminds me to just focus on doing the best I can to be as healthy as possible. To those who are having a hard time, we are all here for you and sending you some prayers and support. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Just focus today on doing the best you can and remember that food isn't going to bring you the comfort you are looking for.

Here is a little video of Penelopes performance from her piano recital l last night, she's been taking lessons for about a year and a half. 🎹🤍🖤

Happy Sunday! Chris and I went out on a date night last night, to a comedy show of course. Chris loves going to concerts, but I definitely do not enjoy the crowds and loud noise and that type of thing. I mostly enjoy staying home or sometimes going to the theater, which is not Chris's ideal night out. 😂 But we both very much enjoy seeing comedy shows and that has been a bonding area for us. That is our favorite choice of something to do for a date night since neither of us eats dinner and we don't like to pay for steak in a restaurant.

This was a big shift for us, pre-carnivore we used to go out to new restaurants, find new dessert places, and Chris used to bake for me all the time if you can believe that. It took us a while to relearn how to spend an evening out together that wasn't centered around carbs. Pictures below are from last night (we are currently 40 and 50 years old), and the second picture is from 10 years ago (when we were 30 and 40 years old).

Happy Saturday! I am very excited for the weekend. We are going to Fogo de Chao Brazilian steakhouse for lunch today. They have Veterans Day discounts (for Veterans and families) all weekend and through Tuesday so we always take advantage. Not much better than all you can eat meat when someone else is cooking!! The rest of the weekend we plan to play a lot of Monopoly and just take it slow.

What are your plans this weekend? Eating anything good?

Friday, Nov 7th

Happy Friday!! I was feeling very overwhelmed at the beginning of the week. I’ve been traveling a lot and was just feeling disorganized and behind on a big project at work. I spent Monday creating a very detailed to-do list and then spent the majority of this week just stuck at my desk, chipping away at it. Breaking things down into small, manageable tasks has helped me make a lot of progress on a big project that felt very unmanageable.

When I’ve taken this approach to weight loss and achieving goals that seem overwhelming, it always helps break me out of a funk. Thinking about “losing 100 pounds” or even 20 pounds can feel out of reach when you feel like you’re doing everything right but the scale isn’t moving. But breaking things down into tiny, manageable tasks or milestones can help you get your feet back underneath you and give you some quick wins.

What is one small task or milestone you can focus on this weekend so that Monday morning you’re feeling accomplished?
