I have lost over 100 pounds on a Carnivore diet. I share my lifestyle and diet on IG and YouTube. I am looking to create a Locals community for my closest fans/supporters. I want them to be able to connect with each other and have access to exclusive content from me.

My fasting window is slowly increasing yay since I was working in the school I didn’t fast so much because I was afraid my blood sugar would go too low at school and now that I’m home I am able to go until about 1:30 in the afternoon to eat lunch and I eat dinner around 6 PM so hopefully this will start paying off

Big Day!

Yesterday we surprised the kids and brought home a puppy!! They have been begging for one for years and we felt like the time was right to bring one home.

Meet Angus 🐕 He's a Golden Retriever/King Charles Cavalier Spaniel mix. He's 11 weeks old and currently weighs about 8 pounds, he should be around 35 pounds fully grown. I know it will be an adjustment for a while as he gets potty trained etc but we are so excited. 😂 Wish us luck! 🤪

Cheese is good! I ate a block of chipotle oven baked cheese with lunch yesterday and it was divine. I love it, but know that it halts any progress I'm making, and will even trigger eating in excess to where I'll gain weight. It's sad but I have accepted it. If I eat it in small quantities with a meal, it's ok, but I really have to work to keep it in check.

What's your favorite cheese? How do you incorporate it? Do you see negative results when eating it?

Happy Sunday! Sharing a video today from our week, one of the highlights. This was Wednesday evening church, normally they have a more casual prayer meeting where someone plays the guitar, but they were doing some construction in the fellowship hall so they had their prayer meeting in the sanctuary. No one was there to play the piano so my my Grandma did it, she's been playing the piano in church for probably 80 years.

For context, she's 88, she had a really bad fall 5 years ago now and hit her head and ended up with a lot setbacks, similar to having a stroke. She has a lot of dementia like symptoms also (I am sure related to her Type 2 diabetes), she really can't read music anymore, and she has trouble seeing well, and she needs to wear hearing aids to hear but hates wearing them, so on this night she didn't want to wear them. My 93 (almost 94) year old grandpa takes care of both of them on their farm. Anyway, on this night she sat down on the piano and led worship as people called ...

Let's talk about fat for a minute. I love it and can eat tons of it when it's prepared right with the right texture. Many folks are pretty adverse to it. When I grew up, any fat was trimmed from our meat and it was well done. I grew out of that but I think many haven't and just have pallettes transfered from their family. Pictured are some carnivore snax I had on our vacation. To me, it was incredible and the perfect amount of fat.

Would eat these? Why do you think so many aren't fans of eating fat? What's your go to fat source?

Couldn't wait to post this! We were traveling and on our way over the mountain we stopped at a restaurant and look what was on every table!! Has anyone ever seen this at a restaurant? I was so excited to share this Wyoming knows what's best!!

Wow, posting 2 days in the same week! Had my annual checkup with my NP today and reluctantly starting on low dose blood pressure medication, even though it's the lowest it's ever been in the office. Also, Increasing my metformin pending my a1c results. Last time it was just barely in the normal range. She also encouraged me when I told her I was considering asking to be referred to the VA's MoveIt program where they also prescribe GLP-1 medication at no or very low cost. I'm currently enrolled, but have never gotten care from them, so I am in the process of establishing that. First new patient appointment in 2 months, so I have plenty of time to research it.

Made a follow up appointment to discuss adhd medication in a month. She's very reluctant to increase my hrt and wants to try the adhd meds to see if that will help my symptoms first. Maybe I'll be able to switch that care over to the VA's women's clinic.

She does encourage the keto diet for me, especially after i had done so ...
