I have lost over 100 pounds on a Carnivore diet. I share my lifestyle and diet on IG and YouTube. I am looking to create a Locals community for my closest fans/supporters. I want them to be able to connect with each other and have access to exclusive content from me.

Happy Tuesday evening Family!
Sorry I missed the Live. We ran to the city to get groceries since it rained.
Sam's for mostly Hubby's stuff. I got 2 18-packs of eggs. I wanted Egg Life Wraps, but they didn't have any nor any Parm Crisps. I ordered the wraps from Walmart.
Dinner was Dairy Queen burger patties with pickles.

Today was rainy off and on all day (Thank you Father!) so no sunshine or fresh air and not much exercise. Just housework when we got home.
Food today: Coffee x2 & protein shake, beef sticks and parm crisps for lunch, LMNT; leftover meat balls and ribeye for supper.

I also make Starbucks Egg Bites for breakfasts to move away from always having protein shakes.

I'm off to read and early bedtime again.

Big Day!

Yesterday we surprised the kids and brought home a puppy!! They have been begging for one for years and we felt like the time was right to bring one home.

Meet Angus 🐕 He's a Golden Retriever/King Charles Cavalier Spaniel mix. He's 11 weeks old and currently weighs about 8 pounds, he should be around 35 pounds fully grown. I know it will be an adjustment for a while as he gets potty trained etc but we are so excited. 😂 Wish us luck! 🤪

Cheese is good! I ate a block of chipotle oven baked cheese with lunch yesterday and it was divine. I love it, but know that it halts any progress I'm making, and will even trigger eating in excess to where I'll gain weight. It's sad but I have accepted it. If I eat it in small quantities with a meal, it's ok, but I really have to work to keep it in check.

What's your favorite cheese? How do you incorporate it? Do you see negative results when eating it?

Happy Sunday! Sharing a video today from our week, one of the highlights. This was Wednesday evening church, normally they have a more casual prayer meeting where someone plays the guitar, but they were doing some construction in the fellowship hall so they had their prayer meeting in the sanctuary. No one was there to play the piano so my my Grandma did it, she's been playing the piano in church for probably 80 years.

For context, she's 88, she had a really bad fall 5 years ago now and hit her head and ended up with a lot setbacks, similar to having a stroke. She has a lot of dementia like symptoms also (I am sure related to her Type 2 diabetes), she really can't read music anymore, and she has trouble seeing well, and she needs to wear hearing aids to hear but hates wearing them, so on this night she didn't want to wear them. My 93 (almost 94) year old grandpa takes care of both of them on their farm. Anyway, on this night she sat down on the piano and led worship as people called ...

Protein to fat ratios came up on yesterday's Livestream so I thought I might throw out my 2 cents on it. One of my heros early in my journey was Dr Ted Naiman. He has done a lot in the protein vs energy space, coining the PE diet and then the Hava app. Below is one of my favorite graphics of his. The idea is everything is about protein vs energy. Energy can be carbs or fat. His direction is leverage protein up and energy down. Simple. In a sense it is that simple, however in many cases other factors are at play depending on the individual. Hormones, eating patterns, insulin resistance. Ultimately it's always about energy in/out so how we optimize that can be different. For example, women particularly may need to have a higher fat percentage because they need hormone support and don't eat as much volume and won't over eat. I myself can go extremely low fat for periods of time without issue. We each have to tinker a bit to get what works. For me, I go by just eat all the fat on the meat....

Question for the group—does anyone use heavy cream in coffee or whip it up as a dessert? I assumed it was zero carb until I looked at the label today and realized it has 1g carb per tablespoon… naturally this discovery happened after I whipped some up and ate a bowl of it 😂 Curious how others handle heavy cream on carnivore.

Day 4 here. Down 5.2 lbs in the first 3 days, up .8 this morning, so still down 4.4 overall. Trying not to let normal scale fluctuations get in my head and staying focused on consistency over daily numbers. Sleep was decent last night (still room for improvement), and magnesium (+ electrolytes) has definitely been helping as I adjust. Overall—feeling committed and taking it one day at a time. Grateful for the Live last night and looking forward to the one on Thursday night!
