I have lost over 100 pounds on a Carnivore diet. I share my lifestyle and diet on IG and YouTube. I am looking to create a Locals community for my closest fans/supporters. I want them to be able to connect with each other and have access to exclusive content from me.

I watched the replay and your rant spoke to me. As an abstainer, I haven’t really been struggling with letting carbs and non carnivore foods slip in, so it wasn’t necessarily speaking to me directly. (I do want to try to bring my dairy to almost zero to see what happens, but I’m already pretty limited.). I think it was a reminder that a “cheat meal” has repercussions that might last days. I don’t want to set myself back over food that will give me a moment of comfort (or whatever emotion) but days of regret. I was very nearly at the point of asking my doctor for a glp-1. I’d rather eat meat than go on a drug that I know I would probably need to use forever. “Giving up” all of the foods that got me here seems like a small price to pay. Thanks for the tough love!

Cheese is good! I ate a block of chipotle oven baked cheese with lunch yesterday and it was divine. I love it, but know that it halts any progress I'm making, and will even trigger eating in excess to where I'll gain weight. It's sad but I have accepted it. If I eat it in small quantities with a meal, it's ok, but I really have to work to keep it in check.

What's your favorite cheese? How do you incorporate it? Do you see negative results when eating it?

Sunday, Aug 31st

Happy Sunday! Sharing a video today from our week, one of the highlights. This was Wednesday evening church, normally they have a more casual prayer meeting where someone plays the guitar, but they were doing some construction in the fellowship hall so they had their prayer meeting in the sanctuary. No one was there to play the piano so my my Grandma did it, she's been playing the piano in church for probably 80 years.

For context, she's 88, she had a really bad fall 5 years ago now and hit her head and ended up with a lot setbacks, similar to having a stroke. She has a lot of dementia like symptoms also (I am sure related to her Type 2 diabetes), she really can't read music anymore, and she has trouble seeing well, and she needs to wear hearing aids to hear but hates wearing them, so on this night she didn't want to wear them. My 93 (almost 94) year old grandpa takes care of both of them on their farm. Anyway, on this night she sat down on the piano and led worship as people called ...

Saturday, Jan 18th

Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well. I know some people in the group have had some recent tough news for themselves or family members. It really puts the day to day issues we face into perspective, and reminds me to just focus on doing the best I can to be as healthy as possible. To those who are having a hard time, we are all here for you and sending you some prayers and support. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Just focus today on doing the best you can and remember that food isn't going to bring you the comfort you are looking for.

Here is a little video of Penelopes performance from her piano recital l last night, she's been taking lessons for about a year and a half. 🎹🤍🖤

Friday, March 6th

Happy Friday! Thanks to everyone that hung out on the Livestream last night. If you need to hear a good motivational rant from me check out the replay. 😂😂 The next Livestream here in Locals will be Monday at 7pm EST/4pm PST. I know Mondays are better for more people, and since most of my travel is slowing down we can do Mondays for a bit again.

That being said, I am headed out on a quick 24 hour trip today. 😂 Then the rest of the weekend we will just hang out with my Mom before she flys home Monday.

What are your plans this weekend? Any temptations ahead you are worried about?

Good morning my peoples! Just finished watching the replay. I needed to hear everything that was said at this very moment. I’ve been struggling. Being sick kicked me down pretty hard. I turned to comfort food a few times and now I feel awful. Mentally and physically. I just can’t seem to get my mind right again! I’m tired.

Accountability:

24 hour fasts the last two days due to being busy.

Win for the week is the progress I am making in PT.

My husband has committed to a life change and we see an endocrinologist on Tuesday.

Work has been never ending. I am interviewing new candidates and praying for some good ones to take some of the pressure off.

My son is at a middle school retreat with church. I am praying for him to connect with some kids because he struggles socially.

My husband and I are going to Texas de Brazil tomorrow to have all the meats.
