I have lost over 100 pounds on a Carnivore diet. I share my lifestyle and diet on IG and YouTube. I am looking to create a Locals community for my closest fans/supporters. I want them to be able to connect with each other and have access to exclusive content from me.

Happy Wednesday morning! Ran out of time to post last night.
Today is the first day of no HWC. I don't mind black coffee but I do miss the creaminess that it brings.

Yesterday was a very boring day at the office, but boring is good. After years of work stress, I can easily rest in boring.

Accountability:
No sunshine and my more senior coworker was off so I couldn't leave to walk on my breaks. We did go to the city for errands so I walked then.
Food was coffee w HWC, beef stick and biltong for lunch. ( Not my favorite so won't get that brand again.) Dinner was a liver-tasting cheeseburger and cottage cheese. We've decided for the inflated price now at that grille, we would be better to just go to a fast food place for burgers. Or plan errands on a SaturDay and eat at home.
Bedtime was not as early as I would have liked, but slept well.
Ok, time go get ready for work. Have a wonderful day!

Cheese is good! I ate a block of chipotle oven baked cheese with lunch yesterday and it was divine. I love it, but know that it halts any progress I'm making, and will even trigger eating in excess to where I'll gain weight. It's sad but I have accepted it. If I eat it in small quantities with a meal, it's ok, but I really have to work to keep it in check.

What's your favorite cheese? How do you incorporate it? Do you see negative results when eating it?

Happy Sunday! Sharing a video today from our week, one of the highlights. This was Wednesday evening church, normally they have a more casual prayer meeting where someone plays the guitar, but they were doing some construction in the fellowship hall so they had their prayer meeting in the sanctuary. No one was there to play the piano so my my Grandma did it, she's been playing the piano in church for probably 80 years.

For context, she's 88, she had a really bad fall 5 years ago now and hit her head and ended up with a lot setbacks, similar to having a stroke. She has a lot of dementia like symptoms also (I am sure related to her Type 2 diabetes), she really can't read music anymore, and she has trouble seeing well, and she needs to wear hearing aids to hear but hates wearing them, so on this night she didn't want to wear them. My 93 (almost 94) year old grandpa takes care of both of them on their farm. Anyway, on this night she sat down on the piano and led worship as people called ...

Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well. I know some people in the group have had some recent tough news for themselves or family members. It really puts the day to day issues we face into perspective, and reminds me to just focus on doing the best I can to be as healthy as possible. To those who are having a hard time, we are all here for you and sending you some prayers and support. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Just focus today on doing the best you can and remember that food isn't going to bring you the comfort you are looking for.

Here is a little video of Penelopes performance from her piano recital l last night, she's been taking lessons for about a year and a half. 🎹🤍🖤

Vacation

Well if you saw my Instagram stories yesterday you know that today we are NOT going to Mexico as planned. If you didn't know, there was an escalation yesterday between the Mexican cartels and the police, specially in Puerto Vallarta, and the US is recommending not traveling to Mexico. Roads are being blocked and the airport in Guadalajara was attacked.

We were going to Cancun, which at this point has not been affected, however not knowing if things will continue to escalate around the country in the upcoming days, we decided it was safest to not travel to Mexico this week. As a pivot I was able to get a refund on our hotel and flights, and immediately rebooked us to go to Maui, Hawaii instead. 😂 So we still leave this morning for vacation, just do a different location. Sending lots of prayers to everyone in Mexico currently. 🙏🏼

I will check in when I can but honestly we plan to just really disconnect this week and spend time together as a family. I will resume morning ...

Just wanted to share a win. I have an Oura ring and the app offered a health panel for $99. Been doing carnivore for 3 weeks, had been trying to limit sugar/carbs a little for the previous month. In December I donated blood and got a letter from the blood bank telling me my a1c was prediabetic at 6.0. While I wasn’t hugely surprised due to my weight, I got a little freaked. My test yesterday showed an a1c of 5.7! I am so thrilled despite slow weight loss because of course health is the utmost goal. Onward!!
