I have lost over 100 pounds on a Carnivore diet. I share my lifestyle and diet on IG and YouTube. I am looking to create a Locals community for my closest fans/supporters. I want them to be able to connect with each other and have access to exclusive content from me.

Happy Thursday!!! @Lauren24 made a post yesterday asking about Superbowl food ideas. In case you didn't know the Superbowl is this Sunday. 😂 I'll be in Spain so if course not watching the game, will you be watching?

Either way that type of "game day food" is actually super easy on a Carnivore Diet.

Meat & Cheese Tray
Deviled Eggs
Chicken Wings
Bratwurst/Hot dogs (mini hot dogs to be cute)
Meatballs
Buffalo Chicken dip
Etc

What else would you add to this list? Any favorite recipes to share??

Big Day!

Yesterday we surprised the kids and brought home a puppy!! They have been begging for one for years and we felt like the time was right to bring one home.

Meet Angus 🐕 He's a Golden Retriever/King Charles Cavalier Spaniel mix. He's 11 weeks old and currently weighs about 8 pounds, he should be around 35 pounds fully grown. I know it will be an adjustment for a while as he gets potty trained etc but we are so excited. 😂 Wish us luck! 🤪

Cheese is good! I ate a block of chipotle oven baked cheese with lunch yesterday and it was divine. I love it, but know that it halts any progress I'm making, and will even trigger eating in excess to where I'll gain weight. It's sad but I have accepted it. If I eat it in small quantities with a meal, it's ok, but I really have to work to keep it in check.

What's your favorite cheese? How do you incorporate it? Do you see negative results when eating it?

Sunday, Aug 31st

Happy Sunday! Sharing a video today from our week, one of the highlights. This was Wednesday evening church, normally they have a more casual prayer meeting where someone plays the guitar, but they were doing some construction in the fellowship hall so they had their prayer meeting in the sanctuary. No one was there to play the piano so my my Grandma did it, she's been playing the piano in church for probably 80 years.

For context, she's 88, she had a really bad fall 5 years ago now and hit her head and ended up with a lot setbacks, similar to having a stroke. She has a lot of dementia like symptoms also (I am sure related to her Type 2 diabetes), she really can't read music anymore, and she has trouble seeing well, and she needs to wear hearing aids to hear but hates wearing them, so on this night she didn't want to wear them. My 93 (almost 94) year old grandpa takes care of both of them on their farm. Anyway, on this night she sat down on the piano and led worship as people called ...

Wednesday, July 1st!

Happy Wednesday!! It was so great to see so many people checking in yesterday and posting, I love reading that and catching up on how everybody is doing. It definitely feels like everybody is mentally ready to wrap up June and re-kick things off for July!

There's something that's really motivating about checking in with a group and posting for accountability, so I encourage you to do that throughout the month. We also can help to encourage you or help to give you some tweaks if you're feeling lost. Remember you don't have to go through this alone!!

What is your non-negotiable goal for July?? What is that one? Simple thing that you can focus on to help give you a daily win and help you build some momentum this month?

I'm terrible with consistency for checking in. Blaming my adhd brain. Still watching lives or replays when I can. Lots of YouTube videos for motivation. Haven't been so great with staying carnivore either. It's usually the first couple days after carb binges that I have to white knuckle it to get past my carb cravings, and this is day three. Again. But already had to make my self eat more last night as I was only at half of my target calories. Very high fat seems to be the only thing that helps stop the food noise enough to be a tolerable level.

My new puppy has been keeping me on my toes. 3 month old border Collie Australian shepherd mix my neighbors gave me from their unexpected litter. Last night he found all the sticker burs in the backyard. His fluffy fur is perfect for catchung them all vs my other dogs short hair that they just fall off of. This morning I found my socks he ran off with over night and then I had to wrestle a bird leg away from him he found outside. ...

Tuesday, June 30th

Happy Tuesday!! And the last day of the month. If you didn't share your win on yesterday's post, go take a minute to do that, and read some of the awesome success stories from people that shared. It's so inspiring to hear how other people are improving their health!

Today let's talk about where you've gotten stuck this year. As a reminder, this isn't to confess or feel shame, it's simply to identify why you have gotten off track so that you are able to make adjustments moving forward to help you learn and be more successful. Then tomorrow we can focus on the steps that we're going to take in order to do things differently.

Where have you gotten stuck this year so far? Or what has been your biggest struggle?
