Laura.... I just watched the live... 🥹
And I listened to about 6 minutes in the middle several times and also made my husband list to those 6 minutes. 🥹 I've never heard you speak with such strength about what is possible for "anyone" who truly goes "all in." And maybe I was just ready to hear. It was just so good.🩷

Thanks to the ladies who joined the conversation last night who were once in my shoes but are now sharing their victory with the group. You encourage me so much! I know it won't be "easy" and I know i have been internally stubborn because it is a radical change and it will take more time and consistency than i previously wanted to invest (if i am being honest) but I just wanted you to know that I so appreciated what you (and others) shared. 🥹🩷

"What could happen if, for the next 11 months, I give it my everything?! No excuses, no deviation, just do it." And "be angry" about the life I have found myself in, because I am being robbed and I know it... even if by my own poor choices, but it doesn't have to end there!

I can not even imagine.

Only by God's grace. Because I am quite sure there is no other way under heaven I could change so completely. But this I know... He is ever faithful. ❤️

Cheese is good! I ate a block of chipotle oven baked cheese with lunch yesterday and it was divine. I love it, but know that it halts any progress I'm making, and will even trigger eating in excess to where I'll gain weight. It's sad but I have accepted it. If I eat it in small quantities with a meal, it's ok, but I really have to work to keep it in check.

What's your favorite cheese? How do you incorporate it? Do you see negative results when eating it?

Happy Sunday! Sharing a video today from our week, one of the highlights. This was Wednesday evening church, normally they have a more casual prayer meeting where someone plays the guitar, but they were doing some construction in the fellowship hall so they had their prayer meeting in the sanctuary. No one was there to play the piano so my my Grandma did it, she's been playing the piano in church for probably 80 years.

For context, she's 88, she had a really bad fall 5 years ago now and hit her head and ended up with a lot setbacks, similar to having a stroke. She has a lot of dementia like symptoms also (I am sure related to her Type 2 diabetes), she really can't read music anymore, and she has trouble seeing well, and she needs to wear hearing aids to hear but hates wearing them, so on this night she didn't want to wear them. My 93 (almost 94) year old grandpa takes care of both of them on their farm. Anyway, on this night she sat down on the piano and led worship as people called ...

Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well. I know some people in the group have had some recent tough news for themselves or family members. It really puts the day to day issues we face into perspective, and reminds me to just focus on doing the best I can to be as healthy as possible. To those who are having a hard time, we are all here for you and sending you some prayers and support. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Just focus today on doing the best you can and remember that food isn't going to bring you the comfort you are looking for.

Here is a little video of Penelopes performance from her piano recital l last night, she's been taking lessons for about a year and a half. 🎹🤍🖤

Happy last day of January!!! I know most of the country is very cold right now so hopefully you are staying warm. Arizona is going to be very warm today and will be outside as Nathaniel has a baseball game this morning.

I can't believe that today is the last day of January! How are you feeling? We talked yesterday about wins for the month, share yours today if you haven't already. But we also want to focus on setbacks, or places that we got stuck. We reflect on our setbacks so that we can learn from those and hopefully have a better outcome next time. While we're some places in January that you experienced stepbacks? Thinking back on those setbacks. What were some things that happened before those moments that led up to you getting off track?

Travel day today, decided to move since our campground was too close to very loud traffic noise. Going to get very cold here tonight, low of 23 with 35 mph wind gusts so feels like 6 degrees, unheard of here in Florida!

1. Coffee with splash of cream
2. Pork belly, pizza bowl

Got my walk in today and a lot of movement tearing down & setting up! Fasted 17 hours.

Today was great! I felt like I wasn't getting enough fat...so I upped my fat intake the last couple days and wow this morning I woke up energized straight out of bed. I made 18 of these egg sausage muffins (egg and sausage patties bake in the oven @350 for 30mins) my oldest ate 11 of these today. I have 1 left.🤦I also air fried a pack of bacon for during our archery meet for a little snack and the same kid who ate 11 egg muffins took my bag of bacon. Can't really be mad he is a growing 13yo but dang! We have been craving these southwest burgers and they hit the spot tonight! Paired it with some grilled chicken breast. Chicken always makes me snackish which stinks. Wish I had some bacon🤣
