I have lost over 100 pounds on a Carnivore diet. I share my lifestyle and diet on IG and YouTube. I am looking to create a Locals community for my closest fans/supporters. I want them to be able to connect with each other and have access to exclusive content from me.

Accountability
1. Coffee with cream, bacon
2. Crispy chicken thighs

I also had 1 strawberry! It’s strawberry season in Florida and of course we are staying at a koa with a farmers market and of course husband brings home 2 QUARTS of strawberries! I had a single strawberry, it was just ok thank goodness!

Pile of bacon cooked on blackstone this morning, then laundry & walk to dog park, then went to Publix & scored $10.99 a pound ribeyes and some flowers for my mother & daddy’s graves. I still miss them even though they’ve been gone 8 & 16 years. Then home to air fried crispy chicken thighs. Got way more than 10 minutes walking today. Now to do my physical therapy exercises, dishes & bed!

Cheese is good! I ate a block of chipotle oven baked cheese with lunch yesterday and it was divine. I love it, but know that it halts any progress I'm making, and will even trigger eating in excess to where I'll gain weight. It's sad but I have accepted it. If I eat it in small quantities with a meal, it's ok, but I really have to work to keep it in check.

What's your favorite cheese? How do you incorporate it? Do you see negative results when eating it?

Sunday, Aug 31st

Happy Sunday! Sharing a video today from our week, one of the highlights. This was Wednesday evening church, normally they have a more casual prayer meeting where someone plays the guitar, but they were doing some construction in the fellowship hall so they had their prayer meeting in the sanctuary. No one was there to play the piano so my my Grandma did it, she's been playing the piano in church for probably 80 years.

For context, she's 88, she had a really bad fall 5 years ago now and hit her head and ended up with a lot setbacks, similar to having a stroke. She has a lot of dementia like symptoms also (I am sure related to her Type 2 diabetes), she really can't read music anymore, and she has trouble seeing well, and she needs to wear hearing aids to hear but hates wearing them, so on this night she didn't want to wear them. My 93 (almost 94) year old grandpa takes care of both of them on their farm. Anyway, on this night she sat down on the piano and led worship as people called ...

Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well. I know some people in the group have had some recent tough news for themselves or family members. It really puts the day to day issues we face into perspective, and reminds me to just focus on doing the best I can to be as healthy as possible. To those who are having a hard time, we are all here for you and sending you some prayers and support. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Just focus today on doing the best you can and remember that food isn't going to bring you the comfort you are looking for.

Here is a little video of Penelopes performance from her piano recital l last night, she's been taking lessons for about a year and a half. 🎹🤍🖤

I made another chuck roast in the sous vide yesterday. (Pictures for reference). It was amazing and so cheap. I'm a big fan lately. That said, I heard someone say they had concerns about the plastic. It bakes in a plastic bag for 24 hours. That can't be good right? The bags we use say they don't have those bad chemicals but I assume there's still micro plastics. I'm usually easy going with sort of thing and live my life knowing that I'm doing the best I can.

Do you worry about micro plastics? Do you change the way you cook and store food? Eat off of?

Happy Cold Friday Night Family!
I've been busy this week and up so early that I haven't had as much time to chat as I'd like.

It's so nice to be busy at work, Finally! I spent the last 2 days working on once account that is complicated and left until the last minute to get resolved. I wasn't able to finish 100% as there are some questions but at least I got it as up to date as possible. But with that came overtime yesterday, off at 6 instead of 3:30.

I'm starting to fade now so I'm off to read a bit and then to bed. Tomorrow we are watching at least one of the Littles.

My Fridays start with a weekly meeting at 7:30 am and since then, work has been crazy busy and stressful today. The weather is gorgeous-warm and sunny-and I've been using my lunch hours for walks. While I brought my breakfast to eat after the meeting, I didn't pack lunch. My solution was to take my usual walk for some fresh air and a break, and Door Dash lunch from Buffalo Wild Wings-plain wings and two beef patties with cheddar, bacon and guac. Thank you, @Lauraespath for the order tip in your recent video!
