I have lost over 100 pounds on a Carnivore diet. I share my lifestyle and diet on IG and YouTube. I am looking to create a Locals community for my closest fans/supporters. I want them to be able to connect with each other and have access to exclusive content from me.

Cheese is good! I ate a block of chipotle oven baked cheese with lunch yesterday and it was divine. I love it, but know that it halts any progress I'm making, and will even trigger eating in excess to where I'll gain weight. It's sad but I have accepted it. If I eat it in small quantities with a meal, it's ok, but I really have to work to keep it in check.

What's your favorite cheese? How do you incorporate it? Do you see negative results when eating it?

Sunday, Aug 31st

Happy Sunday! Sharing a video today from our week, one of the highlights. This was Wednesday evening church, normally they have a more casual prayer meeting where someone plays the guitar, but they were doing some construction in the fellowship hall so they had their prayer meeting in the sanctuary. No one was there to play the piano so my my Grandma did it, she's been playing the piano in church for probably 80 years.

For context, she's 88, she had a really bad fall 5 years ago now and hit her head and ended up with a lot setbacks, similar to having a stroke. She has a lot of dementia like symptoms also (I am sure related to her Type 2 diabetes), she really can't read music anymore, and she has trouble seeing well, and she needs to wear hearing aids to hear but hates wearing them, so on this night she didn't want to wear them. My 93 (almost 94) year old grandpa takes care of both of them on their farm. Anyway, on this night she sat down on the piano and led worship as people called ...

Saturday, Jan 18th

Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well. I know some people in the group have had some recent tough news for themselves or family members. It really puts the day to day issues we face into perspective, and reminds me to just focus on doing the best I can to be as healthy as possible. To those who are having a hard time, we are all here for you and sending you some prayers and support. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Just focus today on doing the best you can and remember that food isn't going to bring you the comfort you are looking for.

Here is a little video of Penelopes performance from her piano recital l last night, she's been taking lessons for about a year and a half. 🎹🤍🖤

New Year's Eve

New Year's Eve!! My brother's family flies home this morning and Chris is leaving for a couple days at the same time. We've had a very wonderful visit with everyone. My Mom is still staying for a few more days. Today I am taking down all the Christmas decorations and giving the house a deep clean. That's my favorite thing to do post Christmas, just give the house a big reset. Have you put your Christmas decorations away yet?

Today is the last day of 2025!! New Year's is a wild time in Arizona and there will be fireworks all night long, I always go to bed early New Year's Eve but the midnight fireworks always wake us up for a while.

What are your plans for New Year's Eve? Tomorrow we'll set some goals for 2026!! Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year's Eve Family! Praying you all are safe while celebrating. Find your sweetie to hug/kiss at midnight.
Today was another slow day but I was able to listen in on conversations about more complex jobs that I don't do yet (learning by osmosis?) And I was given a small extra task for Friday. And eventually I will have a year's worth of bookkeeping to do for an ag business man. I know, only too well, what it's like to have a year's worth of data to enter. This is hitting a little too close to home. LOL (Thankfully, I have our personal books caught up to November 2025.) So I'm looking forward to being a little more busy next week. If not, I have the link now to do the training & testing and get QuickBooks certified.

We went into the city after I got off work to finish our stock up shopping that we didn't get done on Saturday.
Only paper & cleaning products for me. We didn't even find anything Christmas clearance to get.

I'm now one month into my renewed commitment to getting fit and healthy. I like tracking certain metrics every morning and then looking at trends, including glucose, ketones, weight body composition, and sleep numbers. Doing that, I've been able to see what helps and what doesn't. And I'm feeling so much better as symptoms of inflammation are resolving.

Yet, I am also impatient at times and a part of me was hoping to see more of a loss on the scale for the month-if I look day to day, my weight went up, then down, and then will tick up, then drop a bit more, etc. And it feels like I'm not making much progress. But tonight, I looked through my tracking sheet at where I was at the beginning of the month and where I am now. The scale shows I lost 7.4 pounds since Nov. 30th. Yet my body composition shows I lost 8.8 pounds of body fat. I went from 51.3% body fat to 49.3%. These results make me so happy, that the lifestyle changes I'm working on promote healing and freedom from so many...
