Good Evening Y'all!! I have done really good on my eating lately. No sugar, no caffeine, and very few carbs. Yes I know almond milk isn't the best thing for me. I can't tolerate dairy for the most part. So that means no milk for me. I prefer cold coffee but caffeine was getting the best of me. So I have found that I tolerate almond milk with the chocolate caramel LMNT. I made it though the weekend of two parties and didn't eat sugar even though I made something sweet for both parties. My Son's birthday is today. Of course I made him his favorite birthday dessert. The family had New York Strip, salad, and baked potato while I had just New York Strip. I don't feel deprived or anything. I feel like a winner. BLESSINGS!!
Cheese is good! I ate a block of chipotle oven baked cheese with lunch yesterday and it was divine. I love it, but know that it halts any progress I'm making, and will even trigger eating in excess to where I'll gain weight. It's sad but I have accepted it. If I eat it in small quantities with a meal, it's ok, but I really have to work to keep it in check.
What's your favorite cheese? How do you incorporate it? Do you see negative results when eating it?
Happy Sunday! Sharing a video today from our week, one of the highlights. This was Wednesday evening church, normally they have a more casual prayer meeting where someone plays the guitar, but they were doing some construction in the fellowship hall so they had their prayer meeting in the sanctuary. No one was there to play the piano so my my Grandma did it, she's been playing the piano in church for probably 80 years.
For context, she's 88, she had a really bad fall 5 years ago now and hit her head and ended up with a lot setbacks, similar to having a stroke. She has a lot of dementia like symptoms also (I am sure related to her Type 2 diabetes), she really can't read music anymore, and she has trouble seeing well, and she needs to wear hearing aids to hear but hates wearing them, so on this night she didn't want to wear them. My 93 (almost 94) year old grandpa takes care of both of them on their farm. Anyway, on this night she sat down on the piano and led worship as people called ...
Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well. I know some people in the group have had some recent tough news for themselves or family members. It really puts the day to day issues we face into perspective, and reminds me to just focus on doing the best I can to be as healthy as possible. To those who are having a hard time, we are all here for you and sending you some prayers and support. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Just focus today on doing the best you can and remember that food isn't going to bring you the comfort you are looking for.
Here is a little video of Penelopes performance from her piano recital l last night, she's been taking lessons for about a year and a half. 🎹🤍🖤

Happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend, we had a very relaxing weekend which was nice. We made smash burgers yesterday, we hadn't done that in a while, they were so good!!
I have a dental appointment today (my least favorite thing EVER) and am traveling for work this week for work. I will be keeping my food very simple this week. I am up to taking binders 2x a day and starting next week I go up to 3x a day. That will be a big change for me because I NEVER eat 3x a day and I have to eat fat 30 mins after the binders.
How are you feeling about the week ahead? What is your non-negotiable for this week?
Hope you can come hang out tonight on the Livestream! 7pm est
I put in an offer on a house!! I’m scared and excited haha. I haven’t done this since 2009. Praying and leaving it in Gods hands. If it’s meant to be, we will see! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I meal prepped this morning for the week. Scrambled eggs and ground turkey meat with taco seasoning. Dinners will be chicken thighs and burger patties.
Down a total of 11 lbs since starting carnivore on 9/16/25.
Happy Sunday! I hope you are having a good weekend. This weekend our family is having some much needed rest. I didn't walk yesterday but will probably go for a walk today. I want to go to the red light bed/sauna etc. And of course Sunday is for church and worship.
If you have a day of rest, what does that look like for you?
