I have lost over 100 pounds on a Carnivore diet. I share my lifestyle and diet on IG and YouTube. I am looking to create a Locals community for my closest fans/supporters. I want them to be able to connect with each other and have access to exclusive content from me.

Happy Saturday Night!
We had snow and cold and wind today. Probably 1-3 inches. Which is plenty! We both have agreed we don't like winter anymore. (When did I get old??)

Due to the conditions, we won't be taking some of the cows (old girls) to the sale barn tomorrow. YAY! Farmer and DS2 will load them up Wed after work for the sale on Thursday at a different sale barn.

Today was quiet and restful. He's still fighting off the sinus crud so slept off and on all day. He is turning the corner I think, as he was more perky this evening.
I did laundry and a little housework. And then did some on-line shopping and then some computer clean up. I had so much in my download folder.

With it being so cold here, it was a good night for soup.
He wanted ham and bean, and I wanted a carnivore version of Turkey soup. Mine was simply leftover turkey and gravy with the rest of the broth from cooking it. I added some butter and chicken schmalz for flavor, minced onion, smoked paprika, poultry seasoning, and then some HWC to thicken it a bit. It was sooo good!

Time for some reading and an early bedtime. Tomorrow we will watch church on-line and not be braving the roads. 40+ mph winds and fresh snow = drifts and slick roads in the morning.

Accountability
Exercise/fresh air/sunshine/sleep
Just housework, nope, nope and didn't sleep well.

Food
M1: Coffee x2
M2: Charcuterie items and dressed egg half
M3: Turkey soup, 3 egg halves, LMNT

Cheese is good! I ate a block of chipotle oven baked cheese with lunch yesterday and it was divine. I love it, but know that it halts any progress I'm making, and will even trigger eating in excess to where I'll gain weight. It's sad but I have accepted it. If I eat it in small quantities with a meal, it's ok, but I really have to work to keep it in check.

What's your favorite cheese? How do you incorporate it? Do you see negative results when eating it?

Happy Sunday! Sharing a video today from our week, one of the highlights. This was Wednesday evening church, normally they have a more casual prayer meeting where someone plays the guitar, but they were doing some construction in the fellowship hall so they had their prayer meeting in the sanctuary. No one was there to play the piano so my my Grandma did it, she's been playing the piano in church for probably 80 years.

For context, she's 88, she had a really bad fall 5 years ago now and hit her head and ended up with a lot setbacks, similar to having a stroke. She has a lot of dementia like symptoms also (I am sure related to her Type 2 diabetes), she really can't read music anymore, and she has trouble seeing well, and she needs to wear hearing aids to hear but hates wearing them, so on this night she didn't want to wear them. My 93 (almost 94) year old grandpa takes care of both of them on their farm. Anyway, on this night she sat down on the piano and led worship as people called ...

Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well. I know some people in the group have had some recent tough news for themselves or family members. It really puts the day to day issues we face into perspective, and reminds me to just focus on doing the best I can to be as healthy as possible. To those who are having a hard time, we are all here for you and sending you some prayers and support. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Just focus today on doing the best you can and remember that food isn't going to bring you the comfort you are looking for.

Here is a little video of Penelopes performance from her piano recital l last night, she's been taking lessons for about a year and a half. 🎹🤍🖤

We are hunkering down for a couple day as a snow storm is blowing in. I have a allergy test on Tuesday. Last time I was super strict beast mode before and I reacted to alot. This time I am going really laid back no strict at all. I feel worse but I am curious if it will change the test outcome. All is fair in a N=1 experiment. Stay tuned. After Tuesday I plan on going back to beast mode to reset. I feel super bloated from all the cheese/dairy I have let myself have.

I’m finally feeling less meat fatigue and budget stress. I had to struggle through that one. I accidentally decided to take some time and mentally calculate costs of meat. Not just looking at the price on the package like I had been but thinking about how many meals I would get out of that package. When I see skirt steak and the price is $21 I tend to flinch but when I know I can get at least 2 meals for me out of that or maybe 3 if I add eggs to it then it feels more affordable and less scary. Similar cost as fast food right?
We have a brand new Gordon’s restaurant supply store in town that is open to the public. Sunday we went to check it out after church. They had Halal Chuck rolls for $3.99 a lb and brisket for $4.99 lb so we got one of each. They also had a large box of steak diced very small. It is packaged in perfect portions for 1-2 people. We got that and it was outstanding and perfect for taco bowls. Very tender and delicious. I also got 3 medium thin ribeyes for $11 ...
