I have lost over 100 pounds on a Carnivore diet. I share my lifestyle and diet on IG and YouTube. I am looking to create a Locals community for my closest fans/supporters. I want them to be able to connect with each other and have access to exclusive content from me.

Happy Thanksgiving Night Family!

First, to anyone who is feeling like they blew it, feeling remorseful for eating off-plan, fell totally off their own personal wagon... It is OK! Stop hating on yourself. Let's start again. Not "start over" but pick up where you left off.

Tomorrow or next meal, let's keep it carnivore. Don't give in to the guilt and give up because you feel like you messed up. It was one meal, one day, one food or food group.

Tomorrow can be a steak or eggs or sardines (VEEBS!) or a fast. We have 3 days left in November, so let's go out on a BANG!

As for me, I planned to eat some favorite non-carnvore foods. I made some of them. And now I'm done. It was one meal, I enjoyed small bites of them and I'm going back to Carnivore. There are 2 non-carnivore foods there that are whispering my name. If Farmer doesn't eat them by Sunday night, out they go!

The turkey breast in the crockpot and the brisket (thanks again @ChrisSpath ) were done to tenderness. I did it very simply. Turkey on top of sliced onions and topped with the gravy packet.
Brisket, rubbed with a basic S&P, Garlic seasoning. in a pan with 1 cup of beef broth.
They were both a little crystally yet, not quite 100% thawed so the turkey cooked on High and the Brisket at 300 for a few hours then, turned down to 275 and 2 hours before eating, I took the foil off.

The Little ones took a short walk with me after dinner. Then we played games, they crafted a little, played with some new to Grammie's house toys.

There were lots of dishes and lots of food. I won't have to cook much this weekend.
Farmer has a sinus crud, but he still wants to brave the crowds for some Black Friday shopping. Adult kids have finally given me their Christmas Lists.

And we are getting the farm ready for possible snow on Saturday. Turkey soup anyone?

I want to tell you all, that you are such a wonderful blessing to me and I am thankful everyday for this group. hug Hope you all sleep sweet and enjoy whatever you are doing tomorrow... shopping, resting, football, family.

Cheese is good! I ate a block of chipotle oven baked cheese with lunch yesterday and it was divine. I love it, but know that it halts any progress I'm making, and will even trigger eating in excess to where I'll gain weight. It's sad but I have accepted it. If I eat it in small quantities with a meal, it's ok, but I really have to work to keep it in check.

What's your favorite cheese? How do you incorporate it? Do you see negative results when eating it?

Happy Sunday! Sharing a video today from our week, one of the highlights. This was Wednesday evening church, normally they have a more casual prayer meeting where someone plays the guitar, but they were doing some construction in the fellowship hall so they had their prayer meeting in the sanctuary. No one was there to play the piano so my my Grandma did it, she's been playing the piano in church for probably 80 years.

For context, she's 88, she had a really bad fall 5 years ago now and hit her head and ended up with a lot setbacks, similar to having a stroke. She has a lot of dementia like symptoms also (I am sure related to her Type 2 diabetes), she really can't read music anymore, and she has trouble seeing well, and she needs to wear hearing aids to hear but hates wearing them, so on this night she didn't want to wear them. My 93 (almost 94) year old grandpa takes care of both of them on their farm. Anyway, on this night she sat down on the piano and led worship as people called ...

Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well. I know some people in the group have had some recent tough news for themselves or family members. It really puts the day to day issues we face into perspective, and reminds me to just focus on doing the best I can to be as healthy as possible. To those who are having a hard time, we are all here for you and sending you some prayers and support. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Just focus today on doing the best you can and remember that food isn't going to bring you the comfort you are looking for.

Here is a little video of Penelopes performance from her piano recital l last night, she's been taking lessons for about a year and a half. 🎹🤍🖤

Thanksgiving Eve

Happy Wednesday! Tomorrow in the United States is Thanksgiving, I hope you are feeling no stress and excited to spend the day with friends and family. But I know that's not always the case around the holidays. I do know, that having a plan and going into the day mentally prepared for how you will handle each situation will help so much.

So let's put it in writing today to help hold you accountable. No judgement on what you eat, even if it's normal food. Having a specific plan can help you stay on track and prevent derailing you for an unplanned amount of time.

Are you feeling calm or frantic today? What is your plan for tomorrow?

Happy Thanksgiving you beautiful people! I have so much to be thankful for, this group especially!
Sardines got my ketones back up to 1.7 and my glucose down to 74! Feels good to be back at my normal baseline again.
I hope everyone has a wonderful day today!
