I have lost over 100 pounds on a Carnivore diet. I share my lifestyle and diet on IG and YouTube. I am looking to create a Locals community for my closest fans/supporters. I want them to be able to connect with each other and have access to exclusive content from me.

Happy Sunday! We got up to the cabin yesterday, stopped at the farmers market and for some duck eggs to have with breakfast, but and mostly just relaxed the rest of the day. I was really still very tired so I even skipped walking in the afternoon. I slept 10 hours up on arriving back home (after being awake for over 24 hours traveling). Jet lag is much easier coming home but I do find I am very tired for a few days. Went to bed rather early last night again. I am so excited for the beautiful fall weather and all the changing leaves up here.

I know tomorrow is Thanksgiving in Canada, are our Canadian group members celebrating this weekend?

In honor of Canadian Thanksgiving let's share today what you are thankful for.

Cheese is good! I ate a block of chipotle oven baked cheese with lunch yesterday and it was divine. I love it, but know that it halts any progress I'm making, and will even trigger eating in excess to where I'll gain weight. It's sad but I have accepted it. If I eat it in small quantities with a meal, it's ok, but I really have to work to keep it in check.

What's your favorite cheese? How do you incorporate it? Do you see negative results when eating it?

Happy Sunday! Sharing a video today from our week, one of the highlights. This was Wednesday evening church, normally they have a more casual prayer meeting where someone plays the guitar, but they were doing some construction in the fellowship hall so they had their prayer meeting in the sanctuary. No one was there to play the piano so my my Grandma did it, she's been playing the piano in church for probably 80 years.

For context, she's 88, she had a really bad fall 5 years ago now and hit her head and ended up with a lot setbacks, similar to having a stroke. She has a lot of dementia like symptoms also (I am sure related to her Type 2 diabetes), she really can't read music anymore, and she has trouble seeing well, and she needs to wear hearing aids to hear but hates wearing them, so on this night she didn't want to wear them. My 93 (almost 94) year old grandpa takes care of both of them on their farm. Anyway, on this night she sat down on the piano and led worship as people called ...

Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well. I know some people in the group have had some recent tough news for themselves or family members. It really puts the day to day issues we face into perspective, and reminds me to just focus on doing the best I can to be as healthy as possible. To those who are having a hard time, we are all here for you and sending you some prayers and support. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Just focus today on doing the best you can and remember that food isn't going to bring you the comfort you are looking for.

Here is a little video of Penelopes performance from her piano recital l last night, she's been taking lessons for about a year and a half. 🎹🤍🖤

Accountability
1. 2 Cajun andouille sausages homemade from farmers market in Santa Fe, iced coffee with 2 t cream
2. BWW original wings, blue cheese dressing

Notes: feeling great. No joint pain, sleep was slightly off at first but got better. Went to farmers market & Albertsons, then to a park for a picnic & fishing (caught a decent small mouth bass), walked 3 miles total. I retired 2 years ago on the 18th of this month after almost 45 years of working for a busy software company. I had a program management position that was very stressful and required me to travel constantly for many years and work very long hours. The first year I could not figure out what to do with myself, I had always worked. Work was me, my life, my identity. Slowly this year doing our traveling thing I’ve started to enjoy my life, fishing, sitting quietly by a lake watching the dogs play, watching a sunset. I’ve still got a ways to go but it feels great to be able to relax!

Although I've listened to all the podcasts, and all the experts on all things diet, weight loss and metabolic disease, I still love to listen occasionally, especially when it's "one of ours" on a normie show. The episode below is from a podcast I listen to on occasion, usually it's financial or political, oftentimes on Bitcoin. This one is on reversing type 2 diabetes. Shows like this are a sign the message is getting out and hopefully help a lot more people than experts on shows within our own communities. Take a listen or share with someone who needs to 😀

What's your favorite podcast, health related or not?

Update on that 24 hour sous vide chuck roast. It was incredible. Like a 3 pound ribeye.

Very quickly. I'm still around and I'm keeping up as best I can. Harvest is intense this year. Thank goodness for protein shakes and canned chicken and brats/hot dogs.
If anyone wants to pray for a disabled grain truck, we'll take those prayers. 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️🫣😱🙏🏻
On to the next thing. I'll pop in when I can. 🤗 Stay strong everyone!!
