I have lost over 100 pounds on a Carnivore diet. I share my lifestyle and diet on IG and YouTube. I am looking to create a Locals community for my closest fans/supporters. I want them to be able to connect with each other and have access to exclusive content from me.

Hello, tribe.

My nights 5 nights as charge nurse are done for now. I've known this for a while but the past 5 night were a reminder of how much our overall health is influenced by our choices on what we put in our bodies.

As the charge nurse I get a glimpse on every patient that comes in. We had to work with alcohol withdrawals, drug induced psychosis, diabetic keto acidosis, alcoholic metabolic acidosis and much more. Most of the things we helped with, were caused by the patients decisions and choices. That brought me to the conclusion that most of our illnesses can be solved with some behavioral guidance and therapy. Sadly the industry only works with the symptoms and not root causes.

Hopefully you're all having a wonderful night. Read you all tomorrow.

Cheese is good! I ate a block of chipotle oven baked cheese with lunch yesterday and it was divine. I love it, but know that it halts any progress I'm making, and will even trigger eating in excess to where I'll gain weight. It's sad but I have accepted it. If I eat it in small quantities with a meal, it's ok, but I really have to work to keep it in check.

What's your favorite cheese? How do you incorporate it? Do you see negative results when eating it?

Sunday, Aug 31st

Happy Sunday! Sharing a video today from our week, one of the highlights. This was Wednesday evening church, normally they have a more casual prayer meeting where someone plays the guitar, but they were doing some construction in the fellowship hall so they had their prayer meeting in the sanctuary. No one was there to play the piano so my my Grandma did it, she's been playing the piano in church for probably 80 years.

For context, she's 88, she had a really bad fall 5 years ago now and hit her head and ended up with a lot setbacks, similar to having a stroke. She has a lot of dementia like symptoms also (I am sure related to her Type 2 diabetes), she really can't read music anymore, and she has trouble seeing well, and she needs to wear hearing aids to hear but hates wearing them, so on this night she didn't want to wear them. My 93 (almost 94) year old grandpa takes care of both of them on their farm. Anyway, on this night she sat down on the piano and led worship as people called ...

Saturday, Jan 18th

Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well. I know some people in the group have had some recent tough news for themselves or family members. It really puts the day to day issues we face into perspective, and reminds me to just focus on doing the best I can to be as healthy as possible. To those who are having a hard time, we are all here for you and sending you some prayers and support. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Just focus today on doing the best you can and remember that food isn't going to bring you the comfort you are looking for.

Here is a little video of Penelopes performance from her piano recital l last night, she's been taking lessons for about a year and a half. 🎹🤍🖤

Tuesday, Sept 23rd

Happy Tuesday! Thanks to everyone that hung out on the Livestream last night, the replay should be available if you missed it but when I went to bed last night it was still "processing". It doesn't usually take that long do hopefully it's working today. 🤞🏼 I am headed to Texas for work for the rest of this week.

We officially have one more week left in September!! One of the things I went into depth on last night was setting your one non-negotiable goal to help you build consistency. What is your one non-negotiable goal to help my finish this month strong?

Me again. Happy Monday Night!

As I said, I'm almost back to normal. Still some congestion and my silly ears. But I feel so much better and am not hardly coughing at all.

On a depressing note, I went up a jeans size. I knew the 14s were getting snug, so I got a 16 boyfriend jeans. It just fits. Blah! But then I've been very loosey-goosey with the protein bars and the non-meat foods. So... in the spirit of tonight's Live steam, my Sept/Oct NN is NO protein bars. None, nada, one a one! Just protein drink in my coffee in the morning and then just meat. Once I can rebound without coughing, I'll be back at that. Let's get into harvest feeling strong and in control!! 🙌

And here's today's accountability.
Sunshine/fresh air/exercise
Ate in the park, chored, walked to the end of the driveway.

Food
M1: coffee protein drink
M2: Chicken salad, few pepperonis, few pork rinds.
M3: Chuck Roast, jalapeno brat.
Snack: protein bar & coffee. (the last one!!)

Ok, I'm off to do a little early ...

Gluttony

Happy Monday! Our church wrapped up a sermon series yesterday on the 7 Deadly Sins. They were all powerful messages but our family was anxiously awaiting the one on Gluttony, which our pastor delivered yesterday. I knew it would be powerful because obviously it my biggest struggle, but also it's the one our pastor has struggled with as well. He lost over 70 pounds in the last year and during his sermon shared a very vulnerable journal entry he wrote 10+ years ago. It was a very moving message and very helpful to hear a biblical perspective on Gluttony and our relationship with food. I will link it below if you want to take a listen, this is just the sermon without the singing etc from the morning service. The full service is on their channel as well under the Livestreams.

Hopefully you can join me tonight on the Livestream here in this group at 7pm est. Have a wonderful Monday!!
