Happy Wednesday! Travel went well yesterday, I had a couple good meals so I anticipate fasting should go well today, but I always have food as a back up in case I get hungry and change my mind. I have learned that's what keeps me on track best, having a plan, and having a BACK UP plan just in case my original plan doesn't work out. We have an all day training session today and I already know the food they are serving is nothing I want anyway so that makes it easier! Haha

I got in some good steps walking around the airport yesterday waiting for my gate, and then was able to use the treadmill at the hotel gym last night as well. What movement are you doing today?

Just an FYI today Equip launches their newest protein powder flavor, Chocolate Mint. It does contain honey and monk fruit, making it 5 carbs per scoop (like the Cinnamon Roll Flavor). Might not be the best option everyone depending on your goals etc. My mom and I know many others stick to their ones that are sweetened with stevia and are only 1 or 2 carbs per scoop, which is most of them. Nathaniel is VERY excited for this new flavor so I can see some chocolate mint protein ice cream and chocolate mint pancakes in his future. Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well. I know some people in the group have had some recent tough news for themselves or family members. It really puts the day to day issues we face into perspective, and reminds me to just focus on doing the best I can to be as healthy as possible. To those who are having a hard time, we are all here for you and sending you some prayers and support. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Just focus today on doing the best you can and remember that food isn't going to bring you the comfort you are looking for.

Thinking about the year ahead can be overwhelming when it comes to goal setting. For some people, like me, short term goals can be much more motivating. Right now it's beast mode through the Meetup this Saturday. That said, I do still have long term goals for the year. Staying carnivore is just a given now as it's my life already so I have to dive a little deeper for me. I'd like to stay in the same weight range but lower my body fat a bit. Gain some muscle mass in short. Gym at least 4 times a week and beast mode at the same time is my recipe.

Canceling The Livestream 😭

So sorry guys, my 2 1/2 hour drive home from the cabin is turning into a 5+ hour drive home so I am not going to make it in time to Livestream tonight. I'll post the link for the Dr Berry Livestream for tomorrow when I know it. I'll catch up on posts here when I get home if you have any questions.

I just got home from 3 days in MI and ate perfect! There were temptations but I’m getting to the point that there are just always temptations and at some point I need to draw the line in the sand and just DO THIS. So I did.
Day 3 no coffee and no headaches.
I was craving “something” so finished off the bread cheese. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I made it. Another ED day shift at a bigger, busier hospital. My God I'm tired.

Meals today:
1. scrambled eggs with bacon and coffee with HWC.
2. Pork belly air fried, one burger patty.
3. 2 beef hot dogs/sausages and smoke pork with more fat than meat.

Now I am very ready for bed. Hope everyone had a good day and a better night 🌙 😘.

Ok friends, this pizza is even better than the last one i shared... 🤩

Crust: shredded canned chicken, egg, mozzarella, italian pork panko, spices. Precook before adding toppings. This totally held up and could be eaten by hand like regular pizza.

Well, it's like pickles.

It helps us do the thing and make it sustainable.

We are working on a few recipes that we love to make a rotation to keep it interesting. I really enjoy simple steaks, pork chops, grilled chicken, brisket, pulled pork, pork belly, airfried wings, roast, shrimp scampi, Alfredo on anything (lol), taco bowls, scrambled eggs with cheese and onion, chicken salad, egg salad, and BACON! (Pork and beef) Occasionally I like burgers too, but I gotta be in the mood, lol.

Im curious about 2 things:

1) what is your favorite thing i left out?

2) what do u do that help YOU do the thing and make your WOE sustainable for you?
