Thanks to those that hung out on the Livestream last night, I know Tuesdays are harder and summer is so busy anyway! Next week we'll do Monday.

My Mom arrives today to visit for a week. We are excited to have her here. She likes to go on daily walks so for once I will be joining her to keep up with my recent exercise routine.

Also fyi, if you are having issues commenting on posts here in Locals, I am so sorry, hang tight. It looks like it's not just my community but a Locals issue overall and other groups are experiencing it as well. I will hopefully have an update soon about a resolution, I am so sorry!! If you are able comment on this post and say Hello so we can know who is able to comment. 🩷🩷

Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well. I know some people in the group have had some recent tough news for themselves or family members. It really puts the day to day issues we face into perspective, and reminds me to just focus on doing the best I can to be as healthy as possible. To those who are having a hard time, we are all here for you and sending you some prayers and support. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Just focus today on doing the best you can and remember that food isn't going to bring you the comfort you are looking for.

Friday, January 3rd

Thinking about the year ahead can be overwhelming when it comes to goal setting. For some people, like me, short term goals can be much more motivating. Right now it's beast mode through the Meetup this Saturday. That said, I do still have long term goals for the year. Staying carnivore is just a given now as it's my life already so I have to dive a little deeper for me. I'd like to stay in the same weight range but lower my body fat a bit. Gain some muscle mass in short. Gym at least 4 times a week and beast mode at the same time is my recipe.

Canceling The Livestream 😭

So sorry guys, my 2 1/2 hour drive home from the cabin is turning into a 5+ hour drive home so I am not going to make it in time to Livestream tonight. I'll post the link for the Dr Berry Livestream for tomorrow when I know it. I'll catch up on posts here when I get home if you have any questions.

Saturday, Aug 9th

Happy Saturday! Chris is out of town this weekend so the kids and I are mostly just hanging out. They have some plans with friends and then we'll volunteer at church tomorrow in addition to going to service. We will likely go to the Greek place after church Sunday and get kabobs for lunch since it's not Chris's favorite place to go. But we mostly will just be playing lots of games and doing puzzles all weekend.

Friday, Aug 8th

Happy Friday! It's great to be home and sleeping in my own bed again! I definitely didn't get enough sleep this week. That's the trade off that seems to happen; I got all my shoes in and I made time to exercise, but then my sleep suffers. It often just feels like there are not enough hours in the day.

Here is a fun question for you for this Friday: If you had one extra hour in the day (as if a day was now 25 hours long), what would you do in that one extra hour?

For me: sleep 😴😂😂

Today I did what I set out to do. Nothing! I stayed home ate late, eggs and bacon. Then chicken soup with egg whites noodles from Thrive Market. All carnivore day. 🥳🥳 I'm craving coffee though 😩

Oh well, tomorrow will be a new day for it.
