I was able to do a little workout at the hotel gym last night before my evening event, and then I'm teaching a session this morning before heading home.

Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well. I know some people in the group have had some recent tough news for themselves or family members. It really puts the day to day issues we face into perspective, and reminds me to just focus on doing the best I can to be as healthy as possible. To those who are having a hard time, we are all here for you and sending you some prayers and support. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Just focus today on doing the best you can and remember that food isn't going to bring you the comfort you are looking for.

Thinking about the year ahead can be overwhelming when it comes to goal setting. For some people, like me, short term goals can be much more motivating. Right now it's beast mode through the Meetup this Saturday. That said, I do still have long term goals for the year. Staying carnivore is just a given now as it's my life already so I have to dive a little deeper for me. I'd like to stay in the same weight range but lower my body fat a bit. Gain some muscle mass in short. Gym at least 4 times a week and beast mode at the same time is my recipe.

So sorry guys, my 2 1/2 hour drive home from the cabin is turning into a 5+ hour drive home so I am not going to make it in time to Livestream tonight. I'll post the link for the Dr Berry Livestream for tomorrow when I know it. I'll catch up on posts here when I get home if you have any questions.

I made it through summer school! Now to rest until school starts up August 11.
I ate 1 meal- 2 burger patties with cheese, some fried beef tallow, a little bread cheese, 2 coffees.
Tomorrow begins coffee and dairy free. I can do it!

I had the time wrong on the Live and as I was jumping on, Farmer was coming in for supper. I miss you all!
We are back to a household of 2. I love my kids so much and love having them here but we definitely were worn out. They left around 9 a.m. We cleaned up a few more areas and stripped the beds. We both took a 2-3 hour nap. He's asleep already and I'm heading to bed very soon.
As stated, the snacks went home with them except for the few that the Littles can have.
I did eat a more typical SAD tonight with a hotdog in bun, veggies and then our typical burger and deviled eggs. For dessert I had some greek yogurt and berries. I am so bloated! The buns are going out tomorrow! The cats will enjoy the yougurt and the berries/veggies (tomatoes, salad and cucumbers) may go to the chickens.
I am craving scrambled eggs so badly!
One other nice thing, is I have plenty of grilled burgers and steak bites leftover to hold us through the weekend. I can concentrate on some exercise ...
Completed my scheduled workout today ( a 75 minute walk) and managed a 24 hour fast too ! I had planned on having a ribeye for dinner but went with a protein bowl. I plan on fasting again Thursday to Friday. My blood sugar didn’t rise above 105 this morning like it has been. Not sure to credit this to the fasting or the morning walk. We shall see !
