Happy Thursday! Thankfully today is the last day of my conference and I fly home this afternoon, I was even able to get an earlier flight home so I will be home early evening now.

Thankfully I have NO travel on the horizon, which after 5 weeks of travel in the last 6 weeks I am ready for a long stretch at home.

Today is the 15th, we are officially halfway through the month and halfway through this Beast Mode Challenge. How are things going? What is going well? Any places you are getting stuck?

Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well. I know some people in the group have had some recent tough news for themselves or family members. It really puts the day to day issues we face into perspective, and reminds me to just focus on doing the best I can to be as healthy as possible. To those who are having a hard time, we are all here for you and sending you some prayers and support. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Just focus today on doing the best you can and remember that food isn't going to bring you the comfort you are looking for.

Thinking about the year ahead can be overwhelming when it comes to goal setting. For some people, like me, short term goals can be much more motivating. Right now it's beast mode through the Meetup this Saturday. That said, I do still have long term goals for the year. Staying carnivore is just a given now as it's my life already so I have to dive a little deeper for me. I'd like to stay in the same weight range but lower my body fat a bit. Gain some muscle mass in short. Gym at least 4 times a week and beast mode at the same time is my recipe.

Canceling The Livestream 😭

So sorry guys, my 2 1/2 hour drive home from the cabin is turning into a 5+ hour drive home so I am not going to make it in time to Livestream tonight. I'll post the link for the Dr Berry Livestream for tomorrow when I know it. I'll catch up on posts here when I get home if you have any questions.

NSV - I put on my black skort for work and I can now fit a small child in there with me. It's an XL so I guess it's time for a L.

I’ve been fasting for about 16 hours.  I hadn’t planned to, but when I got home from playing pickleball last night and after putting my son to bed and showering, it was 8:30 and I was only a little hungry.  I thought, I may as well try fasting until breakfast!  I’ve been in contact with other women who have fasted and successfully breastfed.  Plus, Liam is 15 months old now and no longer getting the bulk of his nutrition from me.  Interestingly, I had zero episodes of hypoglycemia last night!  The prior 3 nights, I had at least 1 episode!  I feel good and I think I could fast longer, but I’ll stop pretty soon when we have breakfast.  It also felt really good to be active and play pickleball yesterday even though my feet were killing me last night and I’m pretty sore. 

Daily check in. Black coffee for breakfast. 3 eggs, 3oz ribeye and a handful of. Avon crumbles with a big ole dollop of whipped butter for lunch.
