Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well. I know some people in the group have had some recent tough news for themselves or family members. It really puts the day to day issues we face into perspective, and reminds me to just focus on doing the best I can to be as healthy as possible. To those who are having a hard time, we are all here for you and sending you some prayers and support. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Just focus today on doing the best you can and remember that food isn't going to bring you the comfort you are looking for.

Thinking about the year ahead can be overwhelming when it comes to goal setting. For some people, like me, short term goals can be much more motivating. Right now it's beast mode through the Meetup this Saturday. That said, I do still have long term goals for the year. Staying carnivore is just a given now as it's my life already so I have to dive a little deeper for me. I'd like to stay in the same weight range but lower my body fat a bit. Gain some muscle mass in short. Gym at least 4 times a week and beast mode at the same time is my recipe.

Happy Friday!! Hope you are doing well! I made a dumb move and forgot my laptop charger back at home when we came up to the cabin this morning, so working tomorrow will be a challenge. I drove all over Flagstaff last night and no one sold the one needed. But I'll make it work. Thankfully I don't work Monday or Tuesday next week.
Lunch today is those delicious T-Bones that I bought during my last video, they were on a fantastic sale!! Tomorrow we are going to have some delicious carne asada, I am really excited about that!!

Happy Thursday!! We had an event at church last evening and I talked to a lady for a while that raises goats and she has a lot of goat's milk. She knows we're carnivore and was asking if I would ever want any of her raw goat's milk. I definitely love the idea of raw milk and support getting that from local people, but honestly, milk is just not something anybody in our family drinks.
Chris has a weird aversion to milk in general and could just never drink it. Even though it's carnivore (and I love milk), it still just has too much sugar in it for me and would likely cause me to weight gain. And my kids really have no interest in drinking milk and they don't eat cereal or anything so I don't think we would really use it.
Maybe I could get some and use it in my ninja creami and make some protein ice cream with it. 🤔 I didn't have the heart to tell her that we would rather just eat the goat meat. 🤪😂

I finally got around to calling a local butcher to ask about beef fat trimmings. I was a little surprised when they said "yes." I was even more surprised when they only charged me 1 cent/pound!
So they gave me two types of trimmings, one from NY steaks and the other a large piece off of a brisket. They are two totally different textures and I far prefer the steak trimmings. I just pan fry or air fryer them.
Anyone else have any experience with this? Thoughts?
