Today is a weird one so bear with me. 😂Today I am grateful for diarrhea 🤣🤦🏼♀️ and normal digestion 💩 and just anything that is NOT the terrible constipation that I dealt with for years. After eating huge amounts of meat at an all you can eat meat restaurant 2x in the past week I am just amazed at how normal my digestive system operates now. After dealing with constipation for so many years, it is not very polite to say this, but the diarrhea I had when first going carnivore was a relief'! 🤣 But mostly now I am grateful for normal digestion!!
We have a busy weekend and then I fly to Calgary on Sunday, what are your plans for the weekend?
Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well. I know some people in the group have had some recent tough news for themselves or family members. It really puts the day to day issues we face into perspective, and reminds me to just focus on doing the best I can to be as healthy as possible. To those who are having a hard time, we are all here for you and sending you some prayers and support. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Just focus today on doing the best you can and remember that food isn't going to bring you the comfort you are looking for.
Here is a little video of Penelopes performance from her piano recital l last night, she's been taking lessons for about a year and a half. 🎹🤍🖤
*Livestream Monday night at 4pm pst/7pm est
Thinking about the year ahead can be overwhelming when it comes to goal setting. For some people, like me, short term goals can be much more motivating. Right now it's beast mode through the Meetup this Saturday. That said, I do still have long term goals for the year. Staying carnivore is just a given now as it's my life already so I have to dive a little deeper for me. I'd like to stay in the same weight range but lower my body fat a bit. Gain some muscle mass in short. Gym at least 4 times a week and beast mode at the same time is my recipe.
Steak video for interest. 🤪
Do you do better with short or long term goals?
So sorry guys, my 2 1/2 hour drive home from the cabin is turning into a 5+ hour drive home so I am not going to make it in time to Livestream tonight. I'll post the link for the Dr Berry Livestream for tomorrow when I know it. I'll catch up on posts here when I get home if you have any questions.
Happy Wednesday! How is your week going? This week is feeling very long for me, I don't fly home until Thursday evening. My work dinner plans canceled last night so I just ate some Carnivore Snax in my hotel instead of going out, walked on the treadmill for a while, and video chatted with the kids. Thankfully I don't have any more work trips this month, and the next trip I take is with the whole family.
I have a random question for you today that I thought might be fun, what do you DRINK on a daily basis? Walk us through a typical day of your drinking, no judgement, just curious what a normal day of drinking looks like for people.
Accountability Post: another strange day, but totally typical in the life of a trucker. Meal times were catch when I could and made up of whatever I could grab from the fridge. Where is the weekend?? 🤨. Anywho…all good. 🚛
Super-de-duper quick. Life is crazeee. 4:30 alarms, work, heat, work, farmlife, grandkids. That thing that just whizzed by was my brain!
Short version: Keeping it 95% carnivore. Coffee, protein shakes, Laura's chicken salad for the Win at lunch! Carnivore Snax brisket for the fat content! LMNT to keep me hydrated and cramp-free.
Walmart for the sale chicken thighs and rib steaks and clearance packaged beef (like tuna pouches.) Photos tomorrow.
Ok off to bed. NIGHT!
