I have lost over 100 pounds on a Carnivore diet. I share my lifestyle and diet on IG and YouTube. I am looking to create a Locals community for my closest fans/supporters. I want them to be able to connect with each other and have access to exclusive content from me.

Accountability post: My non negotiable for September was to post my macros every day and I made it. 🙂. By tracking macros, I learned a lot. For instance, todays macro show 22 carbs but they are from protein powder and dairy. Time to fine tune what I eat. On to October!

Big Day!

Yesterday we surprised the kids and brought home a puppy!! They have been begging for one for years and we felt like the time was right to bring one home.

Meet Angus 🐕 He's a Golden Retriever/King Charles Cavalier Spaniel mix. He's 11 weeks old and currently weighs about 8 pounds, he should be around 35 pounds fully grown. I know it will be an adjustment for a while as he gets potty trained etc but we are so excited. 😂 Wish us luck! 🤪

Cheese is good! I ate a block of chipotle oven baked cheese with lunch yesterday and it was divine. I love it, but know that it halts any progress I'm making, and will even trigger eating in excess to where I'll gain weight. It's sad but I have accepted it. If I eat it in small quantities with a meal, it's ok, but I really have to work to keep it in check.

What's your favorite cheese? How do you incorporate it? Do you see negative results when eating it?

Sunday, Aug 31st

Happy Sunday! Sharing a video today from our week, one of the highlights. This was Wednesday evening church, normally they have a more casual prayer meeting where someone plays the guitar, but they were doing some construction in the fellowship hall so they had their prayer meeting in the sanctuary. No one was there to play the piano so my my Grandma did it, she's been playing the piano in church for probably 80 years.

For context, she's 88, she had a really bad fall 5 years ago now and hit her head and ended up with a lot setbacks, similar to having a stroke. She has a lot of dementia like symptoms also (I am sure related to her Type 2 diabetes), she really can't read music anymore, and she has trouble seeing well, and she needs to wear hearing aids to hear but hates wearing them, so on this night she didn't want to wear them. My 93 (almost 94) year old grandpa takes care of both of them on their farm. Anyway, on this night she sat down on the piano and led worship as people called ...

Saturday, July 11th

Happy Saturday! I mentioned yesterday we are going out to dinner tonight, we are actually going out to a nice steakhouse. We basically never go out for steak because we can just make steak our own steak at home for cheaper. However, Chris is excited for a special occasion reason to have someone else cook the steak and Penelope is excited to not have to do the dishes after. 😂

Our go-to places to eat out are places we can get burger patties for cheap, or wings, or someplace like Fogo de Chao because it's all you can eat (but we don't go there as often anymore).

What is your go-to place for eating out?

We are finally heading home from our week long vacation to Maine. We covered 8 states in total. We were going to drive up Mt.Washington but we decided not to as we kind of just want to get home. Kids enjoyed the week as did my Mom. She was the whole reason we went to Maine. She had always wanted to go. However, her knee was very bad and she could barely walk so that put a real damper on things. It made her depressed. We got one hike in (we are hiking people)...and my daughter has decided when she is older she plans on staying at a 5star resort on the beach and not do a thing...haha. we stayed meaty the whole time. There were a lack of steaks in Maine so we enjoyed hamburgers (a lot of them), chuck roast, hotdogs, sausage patties, eggs, and bacon of course. We ordered pizza one night for the kids.

Friday, July 10th

Happy Friday!! I hope you're having a wonderful week! Today is Nathaniels last day at his robotics camp, he's been having an amazing time this week! I also recently got a promotion at my job, so Saturday we are going to get dressed up and go to a nice dinner with the whole family and celebrate. Church Sunday and then prepping for the week ahead.

Do you have any fun plans for this weekend? Temptations you are going to plan to avoid?
