I have lost over 100 pounds on a Carnivore diet. I share my lifestyle and diet on IG and YouTube. I am looking to create a Locals community for my closest fans/supporters. I want them to be able to connect with each other and have access to exclusive content from me.

Accountability post: My non negotiable for September was to post my macros every day and I made it. 🙂. By tracking macros, I learned a lot. For instance, todays macro show 22 carbs but they are from protein powder and dairy. Time to fine tune what I eat. On to October!

Big Day!

Yesterday we surprised the kids and brought home a puppy!! They have been begging for one for years and we felt like the time was right to bring one home.

Meet Angus 🐕 He's a Golden Retriever/King Charles Cavalier Spaniel mix. He's 11 weeks old and currently weighs about 8 pounds, he should be around 35 pounds fully grown. I know it will be an adjustment for a while as he gets potty trained etc but we are so excited. 😂 Wish us luck! 🤪

Wednesday, September 3rd

Cheese is good! I ate a block of chipotle oven baked cheese with lunch yesterday and it was divine. I love it, but know that it halts any progress I'm making, and will even trigger eating in excess to where I'll gain weight. It's sad but I have accepted it. If I eat it in small quantities with a meal, it's ok, but I really have to work to keep it in check.

What's your favorite cheese? How do you incorporate it? Do you see negative results when eating it?

Sunday, Aug 31st

Happy Sunday! Sharing a video today from our week, one of the highlights. This was Wednesday evening church, normally they have a more casual prayer meeting where someone plays the guitar, but they were doing some construction in the fellowship hall so they had their prayer meeting in the sanctuary. No one was there to play the piano so my my Grandma did it, she's been playing the piano in church for probably 80 years.

For context, she's 88, she had a really bad fall 5 years ago now and hit her head and ended up with a lot setbacks, similar to having a stroke. She has a lot of dementia like symptoms also (I am sure related to her Type 2 diabetes), she really can't read music anymore, and she has trouble seeing well, and she needs to wear hearing aids to hear but hates wearing them, so on this night she didn't want to wear them. My 93 (almost 94) year old grandpa takes care of both of them on their farm. Anyway, on this night she sat down on the piano and led worship as people called ...

YouTube Livestream Today

Today is the last day of the month. Yesterday we celebrated the wins of the month, today let's reflect on the setbacks. We look back at our setbacks not to confess or to feel guilty about them, but to understand why/how they happened so we can learn from those situations and get better next time.

Where did you get stuck this month? What could you do differently this month to avoid those same setbacks?

My accountability -

Saturday, May 30th:

Lunch: scrambled eggs and sausage links.

Supper: had a couple grilled pork chops. My husband and I did get our 3 mile walk in.

Sunday, May 31st:

Lunch: cottage cheese, scrambled eggs.

Played pickleball this afternoon for 2 hours and I was tired and didn't feel like I wanted something hot for supper. So, I had egg salad and pork rinds. My husband had I rib that he wasn't going to eat so I had it.

Before I can make a meal sometimes I am so hungry that I need to eat something NOW. Lately I have been having some cottage cheese but I need to have boiled eggs in the fridge to grab quickly.

Happy Sunday Family!
On the illness, I'm probably 80% well. On the hearing front, I can hear about 25% from either ear and talking while trying to hear is a no-go. But everyday is a tiny bit better.
And... I actually slept for 6 hours (after a coughing fit) last night until 7:30 a.m. and for an hour withOUT coughing. So that's a plus. I'm hoping by the end of the week to be 100% healthy and at least 50% able to hear. By Saturday I'll be done with my antibiotic and then we'll assess the hearing loss. I know it's just inflammation from the infection in my ears.

Thank you for praying for all this mess I've/we've been going through for the past week. Ds1 & ddil are still healing, mending, working through this; but God is good and He has redeemed our son from an addiction/sin and reclaimed him. DDil is trying and they are welcoming whatever God has in store. They are both going to Europe with dgd#3 on the school trip. That is a huge step, that ddil is allowing him to go along.
Both sets of parents ...
