Happy Thursday! The company I am here working has their anniversary today so they are having an all day off-site fun day where everyone gets to do activities like indoor rock climbing, bowling, and indoor surfing. I feel like I'm constantly saying this but days like today just remind me how far I've come with my health and my physical abilities and I'm feeling grateful. ❤️❤️ I never would have come to an event like this where I felt like I would have to be the outcast physically previously or I would have just been to embarrassed even participate in most of these activities. But I am here participating and having a great time.
My 7 days of one meal a day and no cheese is going really well. Today is the third day and so I brought some Carnivore Snaxs with me because I assume there won't be any food served here that I can eat. I did wake up a little bit hungry this mo ...
In reality, I may end up eating a second smaller meal when I get home because one bag of Carnivore Snax wouldn't be enough for me for the entire day (it depends on if I can add any food to it when they serve lunch). But I don't consider that a fail on my goals because I'm going to stick to my non-negotiable of "just stay Carnivore" and adapt as needed.
How is your May going so far? Have you been able to stick to your goals? I hope you have a great day!
Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well. I know some people in the group have had some recent tough news for themselves or family members. It really puts the day to day issues we face into perspective, and reminds me to just focus on doing the best I can to be as healthy as possible. To those who are having a hard time, we are all here for you and sending you some prayers and support. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Just focus today on doing the best you can and remember that food isn't going to bring you the comfort you are looking for.
Here is a little video of Penelopes performance from her piano recital l last night, she's been taking lessons for about a year and a half. 🎹🤍🖤

Thinking about the year ahead can be overwhelming when it comes to goal setting. For some people, like me, short term goals can be much more motivating. Right now it's beast mode through the Meetup this Saturday. That said, I do still have long term goals for the year. Staying carnivore is just a given now as it's my life already so I have to dive a little deeper for me. I'd like to stay in the same weight range but lower my body fat a bit. Gain some muscle mass in short. Gym at least 4 times a week and beast mode at the same time is my recipe.
Steak video for interest. 🤪
Do you do better with short or long term goals?
So sorry guys, my 2 1/2 hour drive home from the cabin is turning into a 5+ hour drive home so I am not going to make it in time to Livestream tonight. I'll post the link for the Dr Berry Livestream for tomorrow when I know it. I'll catch up on posts here when I get home if you have any questions.
I'm doing a live stream this afternoon at 4:00 p.m. Pacific time 7:00 p.m. Eastern time. I hope you can make it and if you can't, feel free to mention any questions or topics down below that you want me to address on the stream.
I have some work commitments Monday night but I will also be doing a live stream on Tuesday evening here in Locals for supporters at 4pm Pacific, 7pm Eastern time.
The kids and I had a fun Saturday, they got me to take them to Barnes& Noble which is their favorite place to go, and then we spent a few hours in the pool in the afternoon and then they watched a movie while I got some editing done. Today we're volunteering at church, so we'll be there for multiple services and then after lunch I'll have this YouTube live stream.
How are your all doing, what have your been up to this weekend?
So grateful that today was "church day." There's just something sweet about Sunday, besides going to church, a day of rest and recreation is something to look forward to. What I really enjoy about the BBBE food is there's not a lot of fretting over what I should make or what do I feel like eating, etc. Very simple and yet satisfying. Isn't it? Breakfast: wonderful soft scrambled eggs lightly fried in butter. When I got home from church, I used the same pan with some of the leftover egg and fried (in butter) about a cup of corn beef hash. It's evening now and I am still satisfied. What a blessing. This morning, I weighed myself for the second time since I have been eating carnorver. The end of May was my first weigh-in and I weighed 193, and this morning (June 22), I weigh 183. I am not taking my weight as seriously as I am my blood pressure. That to me says it all. I seem to be staying in the 120/78 range. Sometimes the numbers are a little higher and sometimes a little lower. At my ...
