Chris is taking a quick 24 hour trip today so it's just the kids and I for a few meals. Since I am working during the day and they have Jiu Jitsu this evening I will keep meals for us super quick and easy.
Last night I just made hot dogs in the air fryer. I have ground beef for some taco bowls for today and we'll probably do omelets later for dinner. Planning to make that chicken recipe again and film it for a future YouTube video as well.
What are your favorite fast meals to make?
I will do a livestream Thursday night at 4pm pst/7pm est.
Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well. I know some people in the group have had some recent tough news for themselves or family members. It really puts the day to day issues we face into perspective, and reminds me to just focus on doing the best I can to be as healthy as possible. To those who are having a hard time, we are all here for you and sending you some prayers and support. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Just focus today on doing the best you can and remember that food isn't going to bring you the comfort you are looking for.
Here is a little video of Penelopes performance from her piano recital l last night, she's been taking lessons for about a year and a half. 🎹🤍🖤
*Livestream Monday night at 4pm pst/7pm est
Thinking about the year ahead can be overwhelming when it comes to goal setting. For some people, like me, short term goals can be much more motivating. Right now it's beast mode through the Meetup this Saturday. That said, I do still have long term goals for the year. Staying carnivore is just a given now as it's my life already so I have to dive a little deeper for me. I'd like to stay in the same weight range but lower my body fat a bit. Gain some muscle mass in short. Gym at least 4 times a week and beast mode at the same time is my recipe.
Steak video for interest. 🤪
Do you do better with short or long term goals?
So sorry guys, my 2 1/2 hour drive home from the cabin is turning into a 5+ hour drive home so I am not going to make it in time to Livestream tonight. I'll post the link for the Dr Berry Livestream for tomorrow when I know it. I'll catch up on posts here when I get home if you have any questions.
Happy Wednesday! How is your week going? This week is feeling very long for me, I don't fly home until Thursday evening. My work dinner plans canceled last night so I just ate some Carnivore Snax in my hotel instead of going out, walked on the treadmill for a while, and video chatted with the kids. Thankfully I don't have any more work trips this month, and the next trip I take is with the whole family.
I have a random question for you today that I thought might be fun, what do you DRINK on a daily basis? Walk us through a typical day of your drinking, no judgement, just curious what a normal day of drinking looks like for people.
I got the rare treat of taking a jet out of town with Laura on one of her business trips. I'm only here for one night so we could have a date night in Austin but I'm so grateful for the alone time. She made me some pork chips for the flight, as well as, packed me a bag of wagyu brisket carnivore snax. This meal was epic and I won't eat until I'm back in Arizona, likely before you're even reading this (5am flight back). Hope everyone is off to a great start of the week and month!
What's your go to road trip/flight snacks?
We just got home from a family gathering. All my siblings and their families managed to all gather together for a few short blissful days at my parents farm. With everyone we totalled 39 people and one newly expected baby makes it 40! What a time of rejuvenation it was. I ate a few things off plan, but mostly was strong. My family are big believers in lots of meat and ‘natural’ foods so it’s always pretty easy when I’m with them. But now it’s time to get back to real life and that feels a little hard. Went for an after supper walk with my daughter and captured a pretty sky - I’ll include a pic. As well as some pics of the weekend.
