Happy Monday! I am headed to Texas today for the week. I won't have a car this time and they are doing group lunches most of the week so I am prepared and bringing a lot of food with me. I am planning to do a little fasting as well but bringing all the food I could need definitely takes away any stress/anxiety I have about what and when I will be eating.
How are you feeling about this week ahead? What is your non-negotiable for this week? If you have watched the video I shared yesterday did that change your idea of what your non-negotiable should be? I will make a suggestion...if you find yourself breaking that non-negotiable or having trouble sticking to it each week then it's not the right one for you. If you are having trouble sticking to it then try making it more simple this time. Think of the one thing that is tripping you up the most and just focus on that o ...
I hope you have an amazing week!
Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well. I know some people in the group have had some recent tough news for themselves or family members. It really puts the day to day issues we face into perspective, and reminds me to just focus on doing the best I can to be as healthy as possible. To those who are having a hard time, we are all here for you and sending you some prayers and support. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Just focus today on doing the best you can and remember that food isn't going to bring you the comfort you are looking for.
Here is a little video of Penelopes performance from her piano recital l last night, she's been taking lessons for about a year and a half. 🎹🤍🖤

Thinking about the year ahead can be overwhelming when it comes to goal setting. For some people, like me, short term goals can be much more motivating. Right now it's beast mode through the Meetup this Saturday. That said, I do still have long term goals for the year. Staying carnivore is just a given now as it's my life already so I have to dive a little deeper for me. I'd like to stay in the same weight range but lower my body fat a bit. Gain some muscle mass in short. Gym at least 4 times a week and beast mode at the same time is my recipe.
Steak video for interest. 🤪
Do you do better with short or long term goals?
So sorry guys, my 2 1/2 hour drive home from the cabin is turning into a 5+ hour drive home so I am not going to make it in time to Livestream tonight. I'll post the link for the Dr Berry Livestream for tomorrow when I know it. I'll catch up on posts here when I get home if you have any questions.
I'm doing a live stream this afternoon at 4:00 p.m. Pacific time 7:00 p.m. Eastern time. I hope you can make it and if you can't, feel free to mention any questions or topics down below that you want me to address on the stream.
I have some work commitments Monday night but I will also be doing a live stream on Tuesday evening here in Locals for supporters at 4pm Pacific, 7pm Eastern time.
The kids and I had a fun Saturday, they got me to take them to Barnes& Noble which is their favorite place to go, and then we spent a few hours in the pool in the afternoon and then they watched a movie while I got some editing done. Today we're volunteering at church, so we'll be there for multiple services and then after lunch I'll have this YouTube live stream.
How are your all doing, what have your been up to this weekend?
Sunday with the family. A pew-full of love at church. The girls wanted a treat afterwards. I won't name what I had, but definitely not on plan!
Home for leftovers. I had a egg wrap with cheese and some carnivore Snax for lunch.
Lots of steps prepping for the party.
Then all the family here. Again I won't disclose what I ate off-plan, but good things are were hamburger, eggs.
Lots of fresh air (still hot.)
Now we're resting for tomorrow's local town shopping day and a possible baseball game.
Photos of us at church, the kids this evening and the whole family.
So grateful that today was "church day." There's just something sweet about Sunday, besides going to church, a day of rest and recreation is something to look forward to. What I really enjoy about the BBBE food is there's not a lot of fretting over what I should make or what do I feel like eating, etc. Very simple and yet satisfying. Isn't it? Breakfast: wonderful soft scrambled eggs lightly fried in butter. When I got home from church, I used the same pan with some of the leftover egg and fried (in butter) about a cup of corn beef hash. It's evening now and I am still satisfied. What a blessing. This morning, I weighed myself for the second time since I have been eating carnorver. The end of May was my first weigh-in and I weighed 193, and this morning (June 22), I weigh 183. I am not taking my weight as seriously as I am my blood pressure. That to me says it all. I seem to be staying in the 120/78 range. Sometimes the numbers are a little higher and sometimes a little lower. At my ...
