Happy Father's Day. I am so blessed to have an amazing husband and father for my kids. You all know how lucky I am and I try hard not to take for granted how special of a man Chris is and how much he does for our family. We don't do much to celebrate holidays around here but we plan to grill up some delicious steaks and try and make Chris feel as loved as he makes us feel every other day!!
Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's in the group. I would love to see pictures today if you feel open to sharing. ❤️❤️
Cheese is good! I ate a block of chipotle oven baked cheese with lunch yesterday and it was divine. I love it, but know that it halts any progress I'm making, and will even trigger eating in excess to where I'll gain weight. It's sad but I have accepted it. If I eat it in small quantities with a meal, it's ok, but I really have to work to keep it in check.
What's your favorite cheese? How do you incorporate it? Do you see negative results when eating it?
Happy Sunday! Sharing a video today from our week, one of the highlights. This was Wednesday evening church, normally they have a more casual prayer meeting where someone plays the guitar, but they were doing some construction in the fellowship hall so they had their prayer meeting in the sanctuary. No one was there to play the piano so my my Grandma did it, she's been playing the piano in church for probably 80 years.
For context, she's 88, she had a really bad fall 5 years ago now and hit her head and ended up with a lot setbacks, similar to having a stroke. She has a lot of dementia like symptoms also (I am sure related to her Type 2 diabetes), she really can't read music anymore, and she has trouble seeing well, and she needs to wear hearing aids to hear but hates wearing them, so on this night she didn't want to wear them. My 93 (almost 94) year old grandpa takes care of both of them on their farm. Anyway, on this night she sat down on the piano and led worship as people called ...
Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well. I know some people in the group have had some recent tough news for themselves or family members. It really puts the day to day issues we face into perspective, and reminds me to just focus on doing the best I can to be as healthy as possible. To those who are having a hard time, we are all here for you and sending you some prayers and support. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Just focus today on doing the best you can and remember that food isn't going to bring you the comfort you are looking for.
Here is a little video of Penelopes performance from her piano recital l last night, she's been taking lessons for about a year and a half. 🎹🤍🖤
*Livestream Monday night at 4pm pst/7pm est
Happy Wednesday!! I posted my video with Neisha Berry yesterday, I really enjoyed the conversation with her. I just appreciate Neisha because she just keeps things simple and isn't worried about what people think, she just openly eats what works for her. I agree that Carnivore is a spectrum and over time things might change, we might eat leaner or fattier, we might add veggies or fruit, or cut our dairy, or go back strict to heal or reset.
No judgement from me at however people eat, I just want people to be honest with themselves about what they can tolerate (physically and mentally). Are there foods you eat regularly that aren't "Carnivore"? Any you absolutely need to avoid even though they are "healthy"?

Really quick. I'm still around. We finished cutting the last of all the crops yesterday and as he was driving up to dump, lost a back tie rod. 🤦🏻♀️ But thank you Father God, it's an easier fix, once the parts set here. And God protected Farmer and the combine and the load.
I got an email saying there is a job for me with the bookkeepers company. I asked for more details. Please pray for continued discernment. I have a peace about it but don't always trust my mind. The guilt about potentially leaving my current boss is starting to kick in.
Eating is good. Exercise is so-so, but I'll get back to it as we wind down the outside stuff. Hellooo rebounder and treadmill! 🥴
Ok off to work. Have a wonderful Wednesday!!
Good Evening Y'all!! I failed miserably today. I have been extremely stressed the last few weeks. I have a 61 year old cousin who is dying and has been in hospice care for the last 3 weeks. She and I are like sisters. Her body is currently shutting down. Plus I had a total hysterectomy and salpingo-oophorectomy Monday a week ago. I'm healing pretty decent from that. Plus appliance problems. Then today is my precious Daughter in Law's birthday and I caved today. I will start new tomorrow because I have been doing great. Staying as strict as I wanted to in preparation for my surgery. The win is I lost 11 lbs total the months of September and October. I kept inflammation down in preparation for the surgery. So not all is lost in one day. I just need to pick myself up, shake it off, and do it again. Please pray for my family and I as we are preparing to say good bye to my cousin. This is extremely hard because she is the first one of us 18 cousins that I got to grow up with. Her little ...
