Fasting today: I have about 7 hours of meetings back to back with no lunch break so it should be a pretty easy day for me to not eatv and complete an almost 48 hour fast. Anyone else joining me or trying something new? If you are joining don't forget to have some electrolytes (even just salt in your water will help). Keep yourself busy and stay out of the kitchen...if you have to cook for your family then do it not during meal times when you aren't hungry (they can warm it up later!) If you get hungry have some water and wait 30 mins (and go distract yourself), it often passes and you realize you aren't actually hungry it is just routine. I use the Life Fasting App and have a free fasting circle if you want to track with the group. https://lifefastingtracker.app. ...
Also reminder to not push yourself if fasting is not right for you or if it will cause you to be triggered/stressed. (Or if you have been having carbs or under eating).
What is current fasting/meal routine? 3 meals a day? Two? What type of normal eating/fasting window do you have?
Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well. I know some people in the group have had some recent tough news for themselves or family members. It really puts the day to day issues we face into perspective, and reminds me to just focus on doing the best I can to be as healthy as possible. To those who are having a hard time, we are all here for you and sending you some prayers and support. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Just focus today on doing the best you can and remember that food isn't going to bring you the comfort you are looking for.
Here is a little video of Penelopes performance from her piano recital l last night, she's been taking lessons for about a year and a half. 🎹🤍🖤

Thinking about the year ahead can be overwhelming when it comes to goal setting. For some people, like me, short term goals can be much more motivating. Right now it's beast mode through the Meetup this Saturday. That said, I do still have long term goals for the year. Staying carnivore is just a given now as it's my life already so I have to dive a little deeper for me. I'd like to stay in the same weight range but lower my body fat a bit. Gain some muscle mass in short. Gym at least 4 times a week and beast mode at the same time is my recipe.
Steak video for interest. 🤪
Do you do better with short or long term goals?
So sorry guys, my 2 1/2 hour drive home from the cabin is turning into a 5+ hour drive home so I am not going to make it in time to Livestream tonight. I'll post the link for the Dr Berry Livestream for tomorrow when I know it. I'll catch up on posts here when I get home if you have any questions.
I had a relaxing evening in the hotel 😂😂 I went out to eat and walked at an incline in the hotel gym. I'll get some walks in today during some of my calls.
I went to In-n-Out after work for my late lunch, my go-to for quick eating out, but I know it's not an option for a large portion of the country.
We all know it's cheaper and cleaner to eat at home, but sometimes eating out is either necessary or just fun. I thought it would be fun to share today, what is your go-to place to eat out? What is your typical order?
Fyi: Equip is launching their new protein bars today. They are pretty clean but they aren't carnivore, they contain dates and honey etc. But they do have colostrum and 20 grams of protein. My personal issue (and why they aren't right for me) is that they contain 21 grams of carbs. If you are more Ketovore or do eat some carbs they are a better option than a lot of the other junky protein bars. But beware of the ingredients.
That being said If you want to stock up on the protein powders or any of their other products, they are removing the restrictions for my discount code, so if you've used it before you can use it again this week.
I'm not going to be talking much about the bars because they're just not something that I personally would use, but I know everybody's different so I wanted to make sure you're aware at least. 👍🏼
Hello tribe.
I haven't been posting but I have been reading all of you. I'm going through some stuff. Some of you know how everything has been at my job with my new supervisor. We, my fiance and I, are both nurses and we used to work together. We have no one else here with us but each other. Our families are far. He decided to take a job as a travel nurse due to the toxic environment.
Not having someone is hard. Coming home to my cats and not him is really difficult. Everything is a blur right now, but grabbing my phone and reading all of you, helps. I know I am not alone. I know life hits hard sometimes but God is there for all of us. I have been strong and able to stay away from junk food, thanks to God and this group.
So, keep keep being amazing, all of you. We got this. We are stronger together.
