Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well. I know some people in the group have had some recent tough news for themselves or family members. It really puts the day to day issues we face into perspective, and reminds me to just focus on doing the best I can to be as healthy as possible. To those who are having a hard time, we are all here for you and sending you some prayers and support. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Just focus today on doing the best you can and remember that food isn't going to bring you the comfort you are looking for.

Thinking about the year ahead can be overwhelming when it comes to goal setting. For some people, like me, short term goals can be much more motivating. Right now it's beast mode through the Meetup this Saturday. That said, I do still have long term goals for the year. Staying carnivore is just a given now as it's my life already so I have to dive a little deeper for me. I'd like to stay in the same weight range but lower my body fat a bit. Gain some muscle mass in short. Gym at least 4 times a week and beast mode at the same time is my recipe.

Well I have reached the point in my Beast Mode that always happens. Weight loss has been going well, and I'm feeling good...but over time it always happens that I gradually end up under eating. Chris had to kindly remind me yesterday that I definitely haven't been eating enough the last couple of days, and he's going out of town this weekend so he gave me very strict instructions on eating more and eating more fat. (Especially with the exercise I've been doing). 😂😂
It is a really hard thing mentally though to convince yourself that you need to eat more when the scale has been going down. You get so scared of seeing the scale go up again that in your mind all you can think about is just eating less. It's a balance because I definitely can tell that my body is needing more energy right now and I know that I really need to up my fat intake. But even after all these years of doing this I still just get nervous about gaining weight. It's just so much easier for me ...
Day one of the Bigs being here. Full disclosure, I ate off plan, but this was planned.
It's stupid hot here and windy. We won't be able to do much outside until Monday. We cancelled our photos which were to be tomorrow outside. Too hot for the Littles and hot windy makes for horrible photos. We'll take phone pictures here on Sunday.

Basically I was tired of burgers every time we go out and it was fast food. Ice cream was a treat in a fancy ice cream shop in our little town. One small scoop, no cone. The steak bites were delicious at lunch and I did not crave the carby sides.
Ok off to bed soon. Having all these people around is exhausting. But I love it/them. 😍🥰
Thank you all for your continued support. Grateful you are there. I don't think I did any more than I normally do in a week, but for some reason, this Friday, finds me totally worn out.
