When you are a new carnivore coming up with meal ideas can feel overwhelming, and if you have been doing this for a while often times you can get in a rut.
What is on the menu for today!? Share your meal plan, pictures, or if you don't have ideas share the meat you have and we can help give you some ideas on how to cook it!!
Even if it seems really simple to you it might be a really helpful idea to someone else.
Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well. I know some people in the group have had some recent tough news for themselves or family members. It really puts the day to day issues we face into perspective, and reminds me to just focus on doing the best I can to be as healthy as possible. To those who are having a hard time, we are all here for you and sending you some prayers and support. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Just focus today on doing the best you can and remember that food isn't going to bring you the comfort you are looking for.
Here is a little video of Penelopes performance from her piano recital l last night, she's been taking lessons for about a year and a half. 🎹🤍🖤

Thinking about the year ahead can be overwhelming when it comes to goal setting. For some people, like me, short term goals can be much more motivating. Right now it's beast mode through the Meetup this Saturday. That said, I do still have long term goals for the year. Staying carnivore is just a given now as it's my life already so I have to dive a little deeper for me. I'd like to stay in the same weight range but lower my body fat a bit. Gain some muscle mass in short. Gym at least 4 times a week and beast mode at the same time is my recipe.
Steak video for interest. 🤪
Do you do better with short or long term goals?
So sorry guys, my 2 1/2 hour drive home from the cabin is turning into a 5+ hour drive home so I am not going to make it in time to Livestream tonight. I'll post the link for the Dr Berry Livestream for tomorrow when I know it. I'll catch up on posts here when I get home if you have any questions.
Happy Friday!!
Well I have reached the point in my Beast Mode that always happens. Weight loss has been going well, and I'm feeling good...but over time it always happens that I gradually end up under eating. Chris had to kindly remind me yesterday that I definitely haven't been eating enough the last couple of days, and he's going out of town this weekend so he gave me very strict instructions on eating more and eating more fat. (Especially with the exercise I've been doing). 😂😂
It is a really hard thing mentally though to convince yourself that you need to eat more when the scale has been going down. You get so scared of seeing the scale go up again that in your mind all you can think about is just eating less. It's a balance because I definitely can tell that my body is needing more energy right now and I know that I really need to up my fat intake. But even after all these years of doing this I still just get nervous about gaining weight. It's just so much easier for me ...
I have been listening to the following episodes from The Road to Carnivore Podcast with Joanne Ozug on repeat for the last couple days. They have been getting my mindset right for when I go back to strict carnivore soon. I highly recommend listening to these for those of you who are exploring food addiction.

You can listen to this podcast directly from her website, but she states that it is on Apple Podcasts and Spotify too. I have been listening to it on Audible.
I did it, I quit. It was the most bizarre experience. The supervisor and owner were in the owners office when I got there and I told them and the owner just said, “Ok, send me an email.” I already had a letter printed and so I said no need here’s my resignation. They said thank you for telling us and that was that. I told my coworker and he shrugged and said ok, nice meeting you. It was like being in the twilight zone. I was happy to grab my few personal touches off my desk and shake the dust off of my feet as I left. I rested most of the day mostly an emotional reset. Then finished the day with a nice swim.
I bought one of those fancy scales that measures bone, fat, water and muscle. I’m hoping this will help me in my journey.
