As Halloween is here it just makes me realize how close we are to the end of the year. While I love to take things one day at a time I think it is also helpful to set longer goals/plans. Think ahead to December 31st, that's 2 months from now. What goals do you have for the rest of this year? Where do you want to be on on Jan 1st 2023?
Then once we have those further goals set out we can take a step back and set that one non-negotiable thing that will help us hit that goal. Remember you now have 2 months to focus on hitting that goal. One bad day doesn't mean you've failed. We can still finish this year with amazing healing and start next year healthier! #itsnottoolate
**I'll be going Live on Tuesday here in Locals at 5pm pst (8pm est) to kick-off November!
Cheese is good! I ate a block of chipotle oven baked cheese with lunch yesterday and it was divine. I love it, but know that it halts any progress I'm making, and will even trigger eating in excess to where I'll gain weight. It's sad but I have accepted it. If I eat it in small quantities with a meal, it's ok, but I really have to work to keep it in check.
What's your favorite cheese? How do you incorporate it? Do you see negative results when eating it?
Happy Sunday! Sharing a video today from our week, one of the highlights. This was Wednesday evening church, normally they have a more casual prayer meeting where someone plays the guitar, but they were doing some construction in the fellowship hall so they had their prayer meeting in the sanctuary. No one was there to play the piano so my my Grandma did it, she's been playing the piano in church for probably 80 years.
For context, she's 88, she had a really bad fall 5 years ago now and hit her head and ended up with a lot setbacks, similar to having a stroke. She has a lot of dementia like symptoms also (I am sure related to her Type 2 diabetes), she really can't read music anymore, and she has trouble seeing well, and she needs to wear hearing aids to hear but hates wearing them, so on this night she didn't want to wear them. My 93 (almost 94) year old grandpa takes care of both of them on their farm. Anyway, on this night she sat down on the piano and led worship as people called ...
Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well. I know some people in the group have had some recent tough news for themselves or family members. It really puts the day to day issues we face into perspective, and reminds me to just focus on doing the best I can to be as healthy as possible. To those who are having a hard time, we are all here for you and sending you some prayers and support. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Just focus today on doing the best you can and remember that food isn't going to bring you the comfort you are looking for.
Here is a little video of Penelopes performance from her piano recital l last night, she's been taking lessons for about a year and a half. 🎹🤍🖤
*Livestream Monday night at 4pm pst/7pm est

Happy Friday!!
It was Grandparents Day at the Littles,' school. It's always a fun day. The other grandma came too so we let her stay for lunch with them. Normally we take them out for lunch.
Home where I broke my fast at 40 hrs with chicken salad and carnivore Snax brisket and LMNT.
This afternoon I've been canning up the last of the apples and the jalapenos. (Finally!!)
I have some zucchini to work up but I think those will go into cakes/muffins for the kids tmw. 2 butternut squashes will be saved for thanksgiving. 5 small tomatoes will go into Farmers salsa some night. I could make crabapple jelly as my tree is full of fruit but I think I'll leave them for the birds and squirrels.
Thus the water bath canning kitchen is closed!
(Pressure canning I'll continue to go with meat and bone broth.)
I did rebound for 10 mins and hot on the inversion table for a couple of times. I hear movement in my right ear but nothing from my left yet. 🙄🙉
Harvest starts tomorrow with soybeans. ...
Happy Thursday!
@JerriOConnor posted an awesome Before and After picture yesterday and encouraged everyone else to do the same. So today let's do that!! Any before/after pictures you have post them below to share some encouragement to others. And remember that not all transformations are noticable in pictures so feel free to mention any unseen benefits below too!!
This way of eating can feel isolating and sometimes restricting, but when we see how it's transformed others it can help keep us motivated and encouraged.
Have a wonderful day!
