Good morning tribe.
I am tired. This has been an amazing experience at the new hospital, but I am tired. I weighted myself today and have gain 2 punds. So I had tuna for breakfast with melted butter and mayo and I will have a 7onz ribeye and 3 fried eggs for lunch. I have not quit coffee. I know I said before I will, but I haven't. Its a guilty pleasure.
Did I mentioned I am tired?

Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well. I know some people in the group have had some recent tough news for themselves or family members. It really puts the day to day issues we face into perspective, and reminds me to just focus on doing the best I can to be as healthy as possible. To those who are having a hard time, we are all here for you and sending you some prayers and support. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Just focus today on doing the best you can and remember that food isn't going to bring you the comfort you are looking for.

Thinking about the year ahead can be overwhelming when it comes to goal setting. For some people, like me, short term goals can be much more motivating. Right now it's beast mode through the Meetup this Saturday. That said, I do still have long term goals for the year. Staying carnivore is just a given now as it's my life already so I have to dive a little deeper for me. I'd like to stay in the same weight range but lower my body fat a bit. Gain some muscle mass in short. Gym at least 4 times a week and beast mode at the same time is my recipe.

Happy Friday!! I am still on my work trip, it's been a long week with very long days of meetings just sitting on my butt all day long. I've been going for walks at night in the hotel gym until I hit 10-12k steps for the day. I have been sleeping pretty terrible through, the AC is weird and loud and it's just been long days, the time change makes it hard too.
I fly back later this evening, I am very excited to be home. Other than volunteering at church we have no plans for the weekend, which is good because I just want to hang out with the family after a long week.

Teeth non-scale victory!
I went to the dentist today. My dentist said how tight my gums are (this is a good thing). No gum recession now. No periodontal disease.
I was driving home and remembered how my gums used to bleed when I would get my teeth cleaned. I was told my periodontal disease was getting worse and I had gum recession. This was several years ago. I also started using a Water Pik, and they said my teeth are so clean now and it looks like I floss. I don't floss, but I do use the Water Pik daily.

Good morning. I have accepted a part time position at a local Christian School as a lunchroom monitor. It’s a very easy job. I’m familiar with the school as a couple of my kids went there for a short time and I know some of the staff. The schedule should be perfect with my online classes.
Struggling with frugal meals that appeal. Aversions are a thing apparently.
